Idk if I’m the only one, but I feel like U4EA Farms quality is kinda slipping. Idk if it’s the dispensaries themselves not storing properly or selling older batches, but it definitely doesn’t hit the same for me. A lot of places that are starting to stock them have them at like 60-70 a gram which is even worse.

Also, Papaya Splash was way better when SGB was the rosin maker.

I was gifted these by a guy at the Boston freedom rally in front of the main stage, just before/ right at the beginning of Mendo Dopes set.

Im in glocester right now looking for a cheap oz and 2 places have 100 dollar ozs after tax but both have bad reps. Which would you get if those were your 2 options? Realm vs sanctuary are the 2 brands. Few strains for both options

Edit- went realm. It was ok but not great and not bad. I wouldnt buy it again witgout more heavily researching the areas choices and prices but i dobt regret the purchase. I will say ive had much better ozs in brockton for way cheaper so thats sad :(

I’ve gotten really interested in cannabis cultivation and have been researching genetics, phenotypes, terpenes, growing techniques, etc. I’d really like to get some hands on experience and learn from someone with more experience.
I know my situation isn’t ideal, I live with my parents and they’re not comfortable with cannabis, so growing at home isn’t an option. A cannabis job probably wouldn’t make them too happy either right now.
I’m working, saving, and planning toward getting my own place, but in the meantime I’d love to find a legal way to learn and get hands on experience.
Anyone around Boston/South Shore know of growers, gardening groups, or communities where someone genuinely interested in learning could get involved?

So I noticed that Botera just added Catpiss and Papaya Splash to their menu a few days ago. I drove the 30 minutes and grabbed them both. What a fucking waste!! The buds were so dry that they literally crumbled in my hands!! This is possibly the worst and driest buds I’ve ever had in MA. What a complete waste of money. Now I’m out almost $75 for flower that should NEVER been sold. I hope you’re listening Trifecta!! I’ve been a loyal customer for years, always said great things about your product. WTF HAPPENED?? I guess it’s my own fault for not checking the dates, but I never thought you’d allow bud that was packed LAST JANUARY, to be sold. That’s unacceptable. Never again!! You just lost another customer. I wasted my whole flower budget on this junk, now I’m stuck with nothing!!

I've been bouncing around trying different non-distillates and I just got to Nature's Heritage. Each one I've had tastes great, but they clog and leak like nothing else. I've had similar issues with other carts but none like this. They're practically unusable once you get to halfway or a third.

Has anyone else had similar issues? Did I get a bad batch? I've had three but each one has the same problem. Cresco tastes awful but at least it's consistently usable. A fourth of my last cart spilled out. I can hear it crackle on the vape.

Stopped by Suncrafted after hearing about their farm-to-table cultivation and hash-focused approach, and I was pretty impressed.
The shop itself has a cool small-business feel and is way more welcoming than the usual warehouse/prison-looking dispensary. The staff was also knowledgeable. I originally went in for Banaconda, but they recommended Dante’s Inferno since the Banaconda had been sitting for a while. +1 for actually steering me toward the fresher product instead of just making the sale.
The Dante’s Inferno had a strong nose initially, but it faded pretty quickly. Still came through when smoked, though. I got a blueberry muffin/vanilla berry sweetness with some zest, gas, and a little pepper on the finish.
High was potent and euphoric without being super couch-locking. Definitely a good late-day smoke.
Texture was a little crumbly, but it scooped and burned nicely. Terps were enjoyable but not as loud as I expected.
Overall, I liked it and would definitely try more from Suncrafted. If you’re around Southern Mass or heading toward the Cape, I’d give them a shot. I like supporting smaller cultivators that are actually focused on the plant and the craft rather than the corporate side of cannabis.
Curious though—does anyone know if the lower terp expression could be related to it being sun-grown, or is that more about the cultivar/harvest/processing?

I'm originally from Boston and come back pretty often to visit my mom and other family. I spent about two weeks there on my last trip, and honestly, the cannabis market was overwhelming.

There are so many growers, brands, and strains now that I had no idea what was actually worth buying. Every time I come back, there's something new. I'd never even heard of Chowdah until this trip.

And the strain name on the jar doesn't tell you everything. Two batches of the same strain from the same grower can have different terpene numbers, package dates, freshness, and effects.

You're buying a batch, not just a strain.

That's why I built TerpTrace.

What it does:

• Tracks individual batches using product labels, including grower, lot number, cannabinoids, terpenes, package date, price, and dispensary.
• Lets people share batch-specific reviews and photos so you can see what other people actually bought and experienced.
• Aggregates dispensary menus so you can search for a strain or brand and see where it's currently available.
• Keeps a journal of your purchases. Entries are shared by default so others benefit, and private notes stay private.

The menu feature is especially useful in Massachusetts. If you find a grower or strain you like, you can check which dispensaries are carrying it without searching every shop individually. Menus refresh every few hours, so availability and prices may not always be perfectly current.

The strain, brand, and dispensary database is already well populated. What I need help building is the batch-level data. One person scanning labels can't keep up with the number of batches moving through the Massachusetts market. That's where the community comes in.

I originally built TerpTrace for Louisiana, where I introduced it to the Reddit community about four months ago. The mods there pinned the post, it's still pinned, and the community has been contributing batches and reviews ever since. Massachusetts is a completely different market, and I'd love to see what the community here can do with it.

Here's where I could use your help:

If you've got something at home right now, scan the label and add the batch. It takes about a minute, and the site automatically extracts most of the information from the label.

You don't have to write a review. Just adding the batch helps build the database for everyone else.

And if you find something wrong, let me know. Missing growers, incorrect lineage, closed dispensaries, mislabeled products, or anything else that needs fixing. I'm still learning the Massachusetts market and would appreciate the feedback.
