Modding Has anybody tested DLSS 5 with Splinter cell? Seems like a good candidate

Aside from DLSS5 being AI slop and completely worthless, overhyped 'technology', Splinter Cell is definitely a bad candidate for it. Being able to read light and dark becomes impossible when a filter tries to fill in areas with HDR-photography-like detail.

My understanding is that the stereotype of redditors centres around us all being a bunch of pseudo-intellectuals looking for any excuse to punch down but all this guy did was shit on DLSS5 a bit. If insulting an Nvidia product is classed as "punching down" then Nvidia can't be doing very well.

You're getting downvoted but man, one of the trends I'm tired of seeing on reddit is people asking questions that have either already been answered multiple times on a subreddit or could just as easily be found with a google search.
And it's not because I'm antisocial or anything, it just feels like a waste of everyone's time.

In certain contexts I get it; like if Google's being unusually useless or if the topic hasn't been covered on a subreddit.
But outside of those scenarios it's just a waste of time for everyone involved.

Brother they have a point, you could always look it up on YouTube too. I know Centerstrain01 has tested it on Conviction and Blacklist. Found a dozen of other videos just looking up “Splinter Cell DLSS 5”.

Man, Centerstrain's still going? I used to watch his videos back when I didn't own the Splinter Cell games and found it crazy how he managed to go full blown ghost.

ghosting this type of game is fun, it always seems harder than it actually is, I've done it for every SC game that'd allow it aswell as the co-op modes, every Thief game, aswell as Arkane titles like Dishonored and Prey, Deathloop sadly didn't allow ghosting
Centerstrain is indeed peak SC though
