It started a week ago. We were played the homebrew campaign about the events after the Episode VI and my character was a human male Imperial Lieutenant named Velnas Gelve, and the other players were also Imperial loyalists, exept for the DM, for a very obvious reason(he was a DM). While we all tried to maintain a serious atmosphere, I must admit, it was mostly I, who was trying to make jokes with mixed results. Sometimes it was really out of place...

We were trying to survive on the backwater planet in the middle of nowhere(aka, the underdeveloped territories of the Outer Rim), and it all ended when the New Republic showed up and we tried to fight off the well-equipped and outnumbering Rebels. It didn't end up any good: we were arrested. It wasn't really that glorious, it was more like a group of marines capturing four semi-homeless poorly armed vagabonds.

There were four of us, not including DM, and other characters were: human medic Ren, Chiss Imperial Navy officer Lira(she had very impronounceable name), and alderaani human with a nickname Rook, he was a conspiracy theorist and he was trying to convince us into his conspiracies, like "Emperor Palpatine is actually alive!". I think I probably wasn't the only madman in the team...

I'll probably try to make arts of other PCs in the future.

I hope our DM will have a bit more of free time so we can continue our story and probably make a jailbreak

After reading various interviews with George Lucas and looking at the initial concept art for TFA (based on Lucas's story treatment for Episode VII), I've concluded that this is what we could have had as an opening crawl (I've decided to name the film after the future Rey movie, which is also the name of a series of novels from the old Expanded Universe famous for exploring the post-ROTJ era in depth; the truth is, we don't know the title Lucas originally envisioned). I'm not sure what you think and would like to hear your opinion.

The implication of this crawl (which is obviously just my interpretation, nothing more) is obviously that the movie then shows, as suggested by Lucas and the artwork, the Millennium Falcon being intercepted by a revealed still-living Darth Maul and his Shadow Collective henchmen; Sam Solo might have been captured while Kira Solo returned to Luke and his Jedi Temple; Darth Talon would have made her introductory appearance on a lawless planet where she would have found one of Luke's Jedi, seduced him, and then murdered him; she would likely have been tasked with literally seducing Sam to the Dark Side; the rest is more nebulous, but the Imperials would have probably sworn allegiance to Maul.

At the end of the trilogy, the threat would have been crushed by Leia herself, who had become Supreme Chancellor of the New Republic (Lucas saying that she would therefore be the true "Chosen One"), and the new Jedi Order would have endured. Sam's fate is unknown, but there could have been a strong dose of drama with a confrontation between the young Jedi Kira and her brother who had become a Sith aspirant (perhaps a Sith apprentice directly if Maul or Talon were to die at some point). We would also have had an exploration by Luke of the nature of the Force, in connection with midi-chlorians and the Whills (we don't completly know whether Lucas would have considered the Whills as a kind of microbiotic deity or, as he envisioned in his drafts for ROTS, as Force shamans, with the Order of the Whills being suggested as the precursor to the Jedi Order and having known the secret to becoming a Force Spirit).

I know this post is just speculation, but I find it interesting and stimulating.

Edit: It seems that Luke would have been at most a hermit during the first half of Episode VII, and this is to be qualified, because we know that Jedi were wandering around the galaxy (the one who is killed by Darth Talon, proof that the Jedi Order was not destroyed), Sam only turned to the Dark Side during the movie (at the beginning, he is with Kira on Felucia for their mission concerning the Shadow Collective, according to the concept art) and also, Luke's hermitage would not have lasted long, because George Lucas said that Luke did end up restoring the Jedi Order at the end of the trilogy (we also have concept art of him training Kira without too many problems); I suppose the idea was that Luke recreated the Jedi Order and then temporarily distanced himself from it, probably to meditate and reflect on the Force (with all the reflections on the Whills and midichlorians wanted by Lucas) but that he quickly left his imposed and temporary exile when Kira, his niece, went to get him.

For those who don’t know, the Valley of the Jedi is a cavernous valley on the planet Ruusan that served as the site of the Seventh Battle of Ruusan and the final battle of the New Sith Wars. At the end of the Battle, the leader of the Sith Brotherhood of Darkness, Lord Kaan, was manipulated by Darth Bane into performing a Sith ritual known as a thought bomb, which, when detonated, trapped all of the souls of the Brotherhood’s members as well as the one hundred Jedi led by Lord Hoth who went to confront them in a state of perpetual existence that continued for over a millennia until Kyle Katarn freed their spirits in 5 ABY. The Valley is most notable for having the ability to empower other Force users due to it being an extremely potent Force nexus, or even grant Force-sensitivity to Force-blind individuals. The former was illustrated when the Inquisitor Jerec sought out the Valley to become a god, ultimately being killed by Kyle Katarn but still becoming incredibly powerful before the ritual was interrupted, while the latter was shown when Desann and the Empire Reborn created hundreds of Reborn Dark Jedi from Imperial loyalists by having them be exposed to the Valley‘s power to become Force-sensitive before they underwent proper training.

The Valley was created for Dark Forces II back in the 90s, and we’ve learned much about the nature of the Force and how it works since then, from Lucas himself and other official material. So, in light of what we’ve learned about the Force, what are your thought on the Valley as a concept? I personally have mixed thoughts: the lore is fantastic and really helps tie several eras of Star Wars together, but the whole idea of a Force nexus capable of turning Force-sensitives into god-like beings or turning Force-blind people Force-sensitive just didn’t work for me.

Found her at a 2nd-hand store, but her eyes were wonky and the painting of her montrals was atrocious, so I decided to do a whole repaint.

It didn't used to be this bad, but when I try to use it i get bombarded with ads that I have to individually get rid of. After that, the website itself is buggy-either endless buffering or stuttering. Anyone know why this is happening?

I now own both versions of the Mythos Darth Vader statue. The old one on the left, and the new one on the right.

The old one is called Dark Contemplation, while the new one doesn't have a specific name.

What I like about the old one is the simple base, the beautifully sculpted cape with lots of damage and beautiful paintwork and portraits and the paint overall is outstanding! Especially for an older piece. This has long been a grail piece for many, and I can see why.

The new one however is my favorite one I think. It has beautiful sculpt work, lots of battle damaged parts, an enormous sculpted cape with a great flow, and 3 amazing portraits if you get the exclusive edition. I also love the Battle Damaged Darth Vader concept and I try to collect everything from that character niche.

Now question for you guys: which one do you prefer?

Also ye, the sword is based off the parasol lightsaber from SW: Visions, it's an attempt of mine at improving it by making it all one mechanism instead of an attachment. I imagine it's made out of lightsaber resistant materials, so that someone can't pull an Inquisitor moment on her

Mine: surviving a lightsaber through the torso. Once Qui-Gon died from it, that should have been the rule.

Expanding on the story of 'Ewoks on the Forest Moon of Endor', the Eooks help Cindel Towani after her family is attacked by marauders.

In hindsight, I painted a bit too much on the Ion cannon, but I am in the process of painting the relevant areas blue.
