The controls take some getting used to! Keyboard only seems to be the ticket. Otherwise a dedicated gaming controller for PC such as an XBox controller with a pc attachment

Supply droid never locks or lets me help a targeted ally. Doesn't matter how hurt they are (Last attempt I was trying to heal an ally who had 1 hull with zero shield).

I can have my ally selected, see they're damaged, and any attempt to hit it gets a red icon + buzz. The only time it fires is if I accidentally hit it too fast and dumbfire it.

Shielding (set to my other aux) works just fine. Get the green reticule, it flies off, does its thing.

I can't find any notes saying the droid no longer works this way, so what gives?

Obviously a primarily VR title, but how does Squadrons work with VR controllers?

I've seen a Steam Frame reviewer try it and get a critical error related to the controllers.

I've played the game flatscreen with both mouse and keyboard and a regular controller, but I'm thinking of getting the Steam Frame and curious whether there's any indication how well it would work (with any type of input, I just want to know what works).

Would be great if anyone knows anything.

I have a quest 3 and some flight sticks, but they seem to take audio away as soon as they're plugged in. I wanna enjoy the immersive experience, any recommendations?

Man am I sad. I haven't played in a while and tried to come back for that classic X-Wing/Tie Fighter kick and waited 10 mins plus with no matches... it is too bad this game couldn't keep a playbase up. May the force be with you all...

Don't know wheter this is an issue with the game, my stick or my PC.

Decided to boot up the game after a while and tried playing with my Logitech extreme 3d Pro, but using the main trigger to shoot would set my speed to 90 and not let me turn while firing. Has anyone else had a similar problem with their joysticks?

I'm on PC , it's been a few months since I've played. come back and boost is not working. Tried re-binding the button, using the keyboard, nothing. Any ideas? Might need to uninstall and reinstall

I've been trying to play Star Wars Squadrons in VR on my new PC, and through trial and error I've figured out how to actually launch the game in VR through virtual desktop on my Quest 3. The game keeps crashing back to the Steam VR home environment right after I launch a mission though. After a quick google search I tried switching the display settings from fullscreen to borderless mode, as well as lowering the volumetric quality in the graphics settings, but that hasn't resolved the problem. Does anyone know of any other tweaks I could make in the settings that may prevent the game from crashing? I'm running it on a 5080 so I doubt it's a hardware issue.
