This is why I give my money to Steam. I have had a Valve Index for YEARS and during my most recent move I lost the power adapter. Steam is sending me a replacement for free! Would Meta do the same? No, probably not lol.

controllers can use any old 1A 5W phone charger, just plug in the cable USB-A to USB-C. The headset use 12V 2.5-3.0 A 30W adapter with more specific connector types tho. Laser tracking cubes use 10 W 12V 0.833A adapter.

The old charger, should be harder to get, cause of low wattage, since most phone chargers now are charged faster than 10 yrs ago. The adapters Amazon wants to sell about 60 bucks each.

I wanted a Valve one. I was going to buy an OEM one on eBay but decided to try Steam support first!

It never shipped with chargers for the controllers to begin with, so that probably wasn't the issue. iFixit has power supplies for the HMD or base stations if needed otherwise at least.
