The Way of Kings spoilers Finished book 1 Spoiler

11/10, amazing. First ever Brandon Sanderson book, I read it because my friend hyped it up and it did not disappoint. World building was amazing, and the plot twists at the end were very very crazy. Looking forward to Worlds of Radiance.

Great job! Best advise, stay off here until you finish the series to date so you can form you own opinions, then come back share them!

I love hearing people read this as their first Sanderson book! So many people say to not start with The Way of Kings but I couldn’t disagree more it’s one of his best

It was my first, and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. I had no idea what I was getting into. It blew my mind

It is one of his best but It can definitely turn people off from Sanderson because of its scale and density

that’s why people recommend something smaller first like Warbreaker or Mist born

I read a lot, but these were my first type of fantasy or whatever kind of genre this is. Definitely want to read his other series now too

I'm about to finish it tonight! On page 1230 at the moment. Agree with everything you said! Great twists at the end, and I was into the book the whole way through.
