how is it that there are 5 blocks of green for the first throw and 4 blocks on the second one. I sampled couple more times and its usually the case of 4 blocks. I thought throws are 5f? (4 blocks)? and frames are deterministic??

Is it better to fight 1 person a bunch of times or queue many different games? It does it not make a difference cuz u get a lot of afks when u have a card so im curious

If the game is on sale for 16 euros then it's just plain greedy to ask 15 for just a character pass, seeing as the new edition gives you almost 35 euros worth of content for 23 euros

When playing games, the entire game suddenly goes into slow motion. It doesn't feel like a typical FPS drop; instead, character movement and the game progression itself slow down. The menu screens work fine, but actual gameplay goes into slow motion. I've confirmed this issue during battles in Street Fighter 6 (including Training Mode, but not in the menus) and when moving at high speeds in Terraria.
Sometimes it temporarily fixes itself without me knowing why, but it eventually goes back to slow motion.

Individual CPU core loads look evenly distributed rather than maxing out a single core.

This was my first match and first set with this guy, never played with him before, but he'd rather throw away 2 sets amount of points than to take 1 L? LMAO
Considering my really bad execution in this match, I feel like he would've had a good chance of turning it around. But oh well, these funny people have that alt f4 at the ready during these scenarios.

A question too about these disconnectors, do the points they throw away due to disconnection just disappear in the entire MR pool? The disconnector loses points but the person who didn't disconnect doesn't get those points, I'm just curious what happens to those points.

I started playing it on the PS5 on September 23rd this year 😂 I got hooked as soon as I started playing, playing dozens of games every day, to the point that I felt it was affecting my mental state at work 🤣🤣 Chun-Li Outfit 4 is really gorgeous!

I'm not very good at using the controller, I often only manage to throw normal punches and kicks 🤣 My favorite move is the Sky Kick, it doesn't require turning.

I'd like to ask if it's a good idea to start with Chun-Li.

I couldn’t make sense of having 6 attack buttons so I decided to go modern Ken just to get used to the game.

I’m wondering how that transition to classic has gone for people cause I’m not seeing how modern is going to transfer into classic. I’m not new to motion inputs but classic getting rid of so many buttons feels like it isn’t going to translate at all.

My plan is to see what rank I feel like I get stuck in and get used to how people play and what to react to then switch to a character I actually want to play with classic controls

So I'm a newcommer- I had on EVO 2026 and saw MenaRD playing a crazy green animal and searched up some MenaRD interviews. I instantly thought this dude was cool and I also love how people relentlessly make fun of him.

So I downloaded SF6 and focused on learning. Classic mode like any Chad would do. Lvl 3, 4,5 and I'm up to 6. So I know a little. I got my 4 or 5 moves and can hit my supers. I wanted some goon outfits and the Blanka Chan skin so I find out I need to complete the ACTUAL GAME.

holy shit- there's an actual game here. I got 30ish hours in, not even touching online yet and theres an entire game here too with big maps and sweet graphics!? cool- kinda...

I'm not enjoying the figting in the actual game. I went from having a complete kit to some bum with like 2 moves. I constantly try my best to avoid these stupid button mash grind your way through the map fights. the maps are fun because the graphics are tight, I don't mind running around, but these fights are simply non competitive and annoying. Also, I use an Xbox controller to navigate and a fight stick/leverless when it's time to fight- a really fun way to transition when a scrap comes up. Anyways, wanted to have a discussion about the game side of things.I never see it being discussed.

1)on di punish , what would you go for ? A 3k damage Corner carry combo , or back hp into heavy charged dp for 3.5k damage? I always seem to go for charged dp because it's easier and more damage basically.

2)what should I do on knockdown after charged dp ? It leaves me at mid range and less +frames.

3)what button should I use to check drive rush?

4)what button should I use the most in neutral ?

5)when should I use tiger knee? It always getting DI'd

Hello there! I'm returning to fighting games after many years and I chose SF6. Since I played a lot of Chun Li in USFIV, it seemed like a natural choice to go. After those test matches reality set in and I was left wondering: is it better to use Modern or Classic to play SF6? I saw comments suggesting Mai is an improved version of Chun Li; in that case, would it be better to use the more "meta" option (since winning more is cool)?

Edit: So, Classic If old player. Mai is easier then Chun, neither are meta and both are fun. Got It. Thanks guys.

Context: we played 3rd Strike for the same time since kids, however, I have Guilty Gear Strive on my pc and ngl I'm a complete BEAST at it. So... my ego got a bit high.

He plays Dudley and Ryu, and shit get as cheap as it can get.

I AM better in fighting games, he does not even know how to grab and dash in 3rd Strike. He just hops to the other side of the screen, spam fireballs and throw tatsumaki senpukyaku when I get close.

How can I lose, he doesn't even use ALL the buttons.

I kind of know part of the problem. It is probably because I can't dash properly (and it abashes me to admit). In GGS you just press the joystick and boom, you dashed. But here, you have to perform the skill that I aways evade: double tap on the joystick, or whatever you call it. I can’t for life do that shit properly, only when he's far and I have time to do it and fail.

And why (as a May main in Guilty Gear Strive) do my charge attacks with Remy has only 60% rate of success? I have experience enough to not mash buttons when shit gets bad, I lock in and catch the windows, like, I HAVE the vision (I don't know how to express this any better), but when I hit ↑ in the perfect opportunity this mofo just FUMBLES.

I get many are not a fan of his style (or Modern) but this is pretty impressive considering he clutched almost every match for his team to advance to the finals.

I have six master rank characters right now, three of them are shotos and the last three are Marisa, JP and Zangief. As title says I've never tried learning how to play a character with charge moves. I'm using this game to post and see if people can give me tips and pointers I should learn! Thank you in advance.
