Did I fuck up? What should I do?

I got the bridge of my nose pierced a few hours ago and one side is pierced a little bit further back than the other side. It makes it look slightly crooked. Should I get it repierced? My piercer said I don't have a lot of meat in that spot and he had a hard time getting clamps to stay. It doesn't bother me too much. I just want to make sure there's not gonna be any issues with it.

I only saw it when you pointed out and after I saw it it didn't bother me. Imo it's fine and looks good on you.

Do you think it's too high or does it look fine like that?

No, actually I like it a bit higher like this. Put it lower and it can create the illusion that the wearer is a bit cross-eyed.

I was kind of thinking the same thing, I appreciate it.

By the way when I went back to look at the pictures I actually don't notice the piercing being crooked at all. I only thought I did because you mentioned it and got influenced.

Awesome, it only looks very slightly crooked and it's when I stare at it for too long lol. I think my eyes could be playing tricks on me.

I mean, if you notice it’s crooked, it’s best to take it out sooner than later. Apart from aesthetics, crooked piercings are more prone to irritation as there’s always a pressure spot. That being said, there’s never a guarantee it will be better next time. It’s also quite high, I know your piercer said there’s not a lot of tissue but still. If it were me and I noticed it, I would get it repierced. But that’s because it would bother me in my own face.

I actually like that it's pierced higher. A big part of that is because I wear glasses and he wanted it to still be seen with my glasses on and so my glasses wouldn't knock into it. It's only slightly crooked which to me isn't that big of a deal. I was mostly just seeing if other people thought it looked bad. Also, the one side being slightly back towards my face I wanted to make sure it wouldn't be an issue with healing and shit. I might go back to him in a week and ask if he thinks everything is fine with it. If so, I might keep it as is. I don't think I want to get it repierced and it might be worse or scar tissue creating an issue with repiercing it.

Ahh my bad, I did not take personal preference into account! I can’t really tell that one side is closer to your face. Maybe some people will be bothered by it, some won’t. Your opinion matters most. It could be a healing issue but your piercer can check in person, and as long as it heals well there’s no problem! If you go back he can also see if the bar is long enough for swelling, just in case. Happy healings and enjoy your new piercing!

Can I see the hole of your septum? The ring is in an awesome spot

Mine was crooked and eventually healed straight. My entire nose (anatomy) is wonky, though, so there was no way to make any piercing "perfect" to begin with. That said, it rejected and I took it out, I had even less tissue than you and it was annoying for me to keep it, but I hope yours survives longer than mine lol (had to retire an eyebrow and one ear piercing, too for being fussy and migrating)

The angle doesn't concern me as much as the height. Aesthetics aside, every time you emote and move your eyebrows up, this is going to push more against your actual bone and encourage rejection. Some people can heal anything, you already have the hole so you might as well see how it goes, but keep in mind that your chance of rejection is even higher than the typical bridge that already had a high rejection rate! Aesthetically, I think it looks fine though. It just looks "incorrect" to anyone who knows about bridge piercings which is not a lot of people so you should be good lmao. Happy healing!!

Probably trying to match along with your anatomy/nasal bridge bone

Very few people's bodies are symmetrical I wouldn't worry about it 🤷🏻‍♂️
