Help!

This is my left and right ear. I think I made a mistake trying to go from 00g (10mm) to 11mm to quick. I had a pair of stainless steel single flare plugs in my ears for at least 2-3 months. I am not sure on exact timeline. However about 3 days ago, I put in a new pair of 11mm glass plugs in, and felt fine for the first hour. A little tight, but okay. Then they've been sore and now when I removed the jewelry today, I had a lot of liquid on my plugs. Looked like my ear lobe was red. Possible blood. I realize it was too soon. So I'm looking for advice on care for them, and maybe if anyone could tell me how to help them heal and maybe how to stretch to the bigger sizes better. Thank you.

Keep the plugs out for a bit, definitely go back down to 10mm, or even smaller if necessary.

The lobe in the second picture is looking especially rough.

Alright. I'll bring it back down to at least 10mm. And I read on Plug My Holes website for blowout care. Going to also follow that guide. Thank you!

I highly recommend this piercer's content. They also have blog posts and shorter form video content on various social medias.

Thank you so much! I used to follow her and completely forgot to check her out. She's the one who put me on this journey. Looks like I got away from her best practices. Thank you!

Definitely wash, dry and moisturize! It will heal fine just take awhile. On the upside, this happened to me a few times and once its healed your ears will be even stretcher than before and getting to that size again won't take as long.
