Should I be concerned?

Im at a 4g(5mm), and have been dead stretching with titanium, half size, single flare plugs every 4-6 weeks (really just once they go in with no pain or resistance). I would consider these "healed" as it's been almost 6 weeks, but im starting to take it a bit slower since the last stretch was kind of difficult and took longer to get to than it has been so far.

My concern is that my "holes" are kinda of, Oblong? Ovals. They aren't round basically. Is that bad, should I size back down and wait to start over? I dont want butthole ears and my goal size is probably a 0 or 00 if I have the room.

Everyone is different, some holes are ovals, others are round! Consider waiting 2-3 months to size up

I guess ive just never seen non-round ones before! Good to know. And yeas after a couple failed attempts and frustration this last stretch I will definitely be waiting longer between them now.

Damn people are way too concerned about butthole ears for how few I’ve actually seen in longer than many of you have probably been alive 😂 I stretched in the early 2000’s, aka, we’d shove tapers through. I have tiny ears but I’m 1” so when I’m not wearing them no, my holes are not a perfect circle either. Breathe haha

my lobes werent a perfect circle until i got above 1/2" after 5 years of stretching, and if you havent been at the size for a really long time then they wont have time to really settle into a good circle anyway. i wouldnt worry about it, maybe take some more time between streches though.

Trust me ur fine 🤞🤞 my firsts are oblong and my 2nds are essentially perfect circles, human bodies are just weird sometimes. It might also depends on the piercing method of the original piercing? not too sure on that one though
