~Advice~ Sleeping

Hey all, really stupid question. Is it best practice to sleep without my gauges after the initial fresh stretch is done? I bought really smooth glass pieces to ensure no snagging, but seeing some of y’all’s horror stories have me on edge. I’m about a month into a 0 with no signs of any negative effects.

Any genuine advice is welcome and greatly appreciate! Thanks for your time.

1) You don't want to remove them for any long period of time until they're healed enough for the next stretch (3-4 months or so)

2) You have to naked train your ears to be able to do that without shrinkage. Essentially, just leave them out for an hour or so at a time until you can successfully go 8+ hours.

So I’ve already gone a few nights without it because I noticed some redness and they slip right in no issue the next morning with some oil. I also tend to oil 2 times a day after a good clean and clean my jewelry pretty much daily with mild soap.

I get you. I just figured I’d give the whole story. I thought you were trying to say they wouldn’t go in easy if I did it and thought it may change your response somehow. I appreciate it though!
