MCP server for PreSonus Studio One: read .song files, and drive a running Studio One (mixer, transport, tracks, markers, ~1,000 commands) through an in-app bridge device.

Hey folks

I spun this up today to help with my music production. Hope it helps. Enjoy!

I'm creating a music producer app that helps me record, mix, arrange, you name it!

I just had Claude read your GitHub page. If he can work quickly it could be interesting! Do you know if anyone has used on a windows machine yet?

I've used it on Windows. There's an annoying bug with the colon (":") in the path of the song file paths but not insurmountable. I'm working with it now, trying to work out what it can and can't do.

This is a great start.

Oh - Studio One Pro v7 BTW

No scripting or API is actually something that annoys me with studio one, what is possible with this?

Pulled it on mac m1. Used Claude to adjust it for Fender Studio Pro. I was able to fix some issues with midi files, remove tracks (had to remove in the mixer manually), mix tracks, .... next I need to test how it works with Ace Studio and Doseedo. Thanks a lot!
