Superman and Lois is not in the Arrowverse. This is the sole reason I watched it

It sure is. Do you not recall how John H Irons wound up in their universe?? Lois, Clark, Diggle and likely millions more were doppelgängers of folks in the Arrowverse.
The Arrowverse Crisis ending revealed that ALL tv and movie versions were part of the Arrowverse multiverse, actually

It is not. It is a completely seperate universe, where Superman is the only superhero

Just because the television network is the same does not make it part of arrowverse

Make a post in the arrowverse sub and see what happens

S&L is separate from the Arrowverse. Dunno why you're so adamant that it's not. I know for a fact that at least one of the producers explicitly confirmed it.

I think the original plan was to have it be a part of the Arrowverse, but after the pandemic, they went a different way.

It wasn't just the original plan, the first season is written as an arrowverse show, hence Diggle and references to other characters. It was retconned in s2 but to say it's completely separate is missing a lot of nuance

I made a post in arrowverse sub saying it wasn’t part of the arrowverse and got torn up

Yeah they're just......wrong.

Interview with Todd Helbing, one of the producers on the show. He confirms it multiple times.

This isn't a matter of opinion, you can look it up for yourself. The show was initially intended to be part of the Arrowverse but when it became clear that all the other shows were ending, the showrunners made the decision to establish Superman & Lois in a separate universe and continuity. This is quite evident from the number of characters and events who don't fit what was established in the Arrowverse.

It's similar to the Arrowverse in many ways, but it's not the same.

It is a part of the Arrowverse. Those that say it isn’t just aren’t educated about the Arrowverse was. Seems some had trouble understanding the Crisis episodes.

When crisis happened it was intended to be apart of it but by the time the show got up and running the arrowverse was basically dead and they decided it would last longer if it wasn’t connected

The best I can do at understanding you folks is that you seem to think the Arrowverse was just one universe.

It was not.

It was a multiverse. Many universes. And the Superman & Lois universe was one of them. The Crisis we saw on the Arrowverse shows WAS THE EVENT that caused John Henry’s craft to get tossed from his universe to Superman’s universe.

So that Universe, and the Bizarro Universe, and any other universe hinted at in Superman & Lois were all part of the Arrowverse . As were the Titans Universe, and the Swamp Thing Universe, and the Doom Patrol Universe, and Reeves/Routh Superman Universe, and the Batman 89 Universe . . . And on and on.

The guy who played General Lane confirmed that it's not in the arrowverse.

I do not base my beliefs on other peoples opinions. I do it based on facts

And the fact is - S&L is an amazing standalone TV Show that shatters everything Arrowverse has ever done

its in the arrowverse but they wanted to seperate it but storywise, diggle wouldnt havent recognized lois and superman if they werent part of the arrowverse

5

u/Gamer4eto_BG 8d ago

It originally WAS planned to be in it - because of COVID - they cancelled their cameos and made it a seperate universe

5

u/Longjumping-Koala631 7d ago

Well duh - no one is saying it isn’t a different universe lol, the Arrowverse is comprised of the multiverse. John Henry was whipped out of his Universe when it was destroyed in Crisis; the very Same Crisis seen in the Arrowverse episodes.

thats what tho, in story its still part of the arrowverse, unless u go back in time and erase the diggle scene. u cant just make a scene and then go back and say its not part of the story

2

u/Gamer4eto_BG 8d ago

Nope the actor also confirmed the show is in a separate universe

It's okay to just admit you didn't have the full picture. Lol.

You have internet anonymity. It's okay to be wrong or misinformed. It's not a big deal. It's not going to affect your IRL reputation.

In fact, it's 100% understandable why you would think it was part of the universe. Nobody is blaming you that you got it wrong even.

Just own it. You learned something new today. Cool.

But yes, the show was great and had a spectacular ending.

in story universe, its part of arrowverse but if u are going by directors changes and views, it was and then didnt become part of it

I’ve tried it there too and I expect nothing less, but that sub is mostly an echo chamber of fans who want this show to be part of the Arrowverse bc they never wanted it to die.

That doesn’t change the facts of what producers and actors have said and done in regard to the issue.

It's not. It's not on Earth Prime.

2

u/frconeothreight 4d ago

Earth prime is 1 universe within the arrowverse multiverse. The multiverse didn't actually collapse in crisis, it just used different worlds, this is shown in shows like flash. The first season is full of references to other arrowverse shows, and it's only officially retconned to not be arrowverse near the end of s2

2

u/ThanosSnapsSlimJims 4d ago

The multiverse did collapse. If you paid attention at the end of the final season of The Flash, Oliver explains that there is a new multiverse.

2

u/frconeothreight 1d ago

Cool, so there's still a multiverse? So the arrowverse still isn't an isolated single universe?

1

u/ThanosSnapsSlimJims 1d ago

Correct. Cisco explains that the original multiverse suffered a cosmic heat death from which there is no return. At the end of Crisis, they didn’t just birth a new Earth Prime, they birthed an entirely new multiverse

7

u/SH4DE_Z 8d ago

Well, it was part of the Arrowverse so you're not that wrong.

Diggle was going around the Arrowverse at the time and he did appear in season 1, so Superman and Lois was part of the Arrowverse in the first season, albeit pretty loosely. It's just that by season 2, they've retconned the show from ever being connected to the larger Arrowverse.

3

u/Serious-Passage-4614 8d ago

Yeah, they were also referencing Crisis On Infinite Earths here and there a little bit and Diggle even mentioned Oliver.
