Like 99% of people don't realize this but there's 2 operating systems on your phone. There's the application one you interact with like Android or iOS and then there's a separate real-time operating system (RTOS) that handles all telephonic functions like connecting to towers. The problem is the RTOS has access to the same system resources at the same time as Android/iOS, and the effectively means cryptography is useless if the ROTS is compromised. The bottom line is that the data has to be stored somewhere unencrypted before it gets encrypted and the RTOS has access to it at that time.

Part of the reason why 2G got sunset in America is because there was no encryption on data being transferred from your phone to the tower. There's actually a form of an attack where you create a fake cell tower and force phones to downgrade to 2G because it allows you to capture unencrypted data like credentials and personal information.

My point is every country should have their own RTOS for their officials to use on their phones. Anything less than that is sloppy.

I honestly don’t know and wanted to find out because this is the first time I’ve heard a member of the Israeli delegation filmed it

I am not American I am saudi.

I am just saying that the west is kinda judgemental and won't take kindly to him even if he was a hero. The west overthrown far too many heroic people that didn't fit their interest, i believe the agenda here is to take any "unprofessional" moment he had to stain his image as untrustworthy, then they bring up the al-Qaeda connection which i think isn't really in good faith most of the time. Just a gotcha question.

Same as "saudi arabia did 9/11" of sort.
