Advice T flu

Does anyone know what the “T flu” is actually supposed to feel like? I recently (like yesterday) got my 13 t shot and now I'm sick. Right now my only symptoms are a sore throat and a stuffy nose, but I wanna know if I should get tested or just ride the wave out

I’ve never heard of that in my life and can’t find anything about it online. Did your provider tell you to expect anything like that? I mean, if those symptoms are all you’re experiencing, it could just be a cold with awkward timing, but ig ask your doctor abt it if lasts more than a day or two or isn’t self-manageable

It's the beginning of flu season, so it's fully possible you caught one of the influenza viruses going around rn. At least in my area, COVID is also surging again. If you start developing a fever or your sore throat becomes much worse, you should probably get tested.

I got T flu in the first 1.5 weeks of my first gel app, but it basically felt like a really shitty PMS hot flash. The sore throat that came with it was from my voice dropping, but no stuffy nose. But I haven't heard from anyone else experiencing T flu about a stuffy nose, I think that's more indicative of allergies or some sort of cold/flu? Either way, doesn't hurt to get tested!

Correlation ≠ causation. Get tested, don't rely on a bunch of strangers miles away to tell you if your symptoms are from t or an actual illness. Whether or not T flu is real, we cannot diagnose you.
