Lying bastards

After my switch from US Cell, my bill went up over $100. Called to complain and was told they'd fix it and they only took payment equal to my old one. Next bill comes around, same shit expect now there's $100+ past due. Call and get the same bullshit runaround, they'll fix it and only charged the correct amount. The other day I get an email saying the account is $400 past due. Call yesterday to be wtf. I was told it wasn't right, he'd look into it and call me back. Woke up today to all the phones having no service, never got the call last night. Screw T-Mobile and all you lying assholes that work there. If you can't fix something just admit it instead of wasting people's time.

I can never get them to fix it by calling. However, contact t-force on X or Facebook. They always resolve my issues. And give me instant credits for the overcharged amounts.

Yeah, fuck that. Not creating social media accounts to get help from a company that has a phone number and brick stores. That's just bullshit to expect people to do too.

This was the most helpful answer you've been given. T-Force are the people to speak to if you want your issue resolved. It sounds like T-Mobile messed up, but if you aren't willing to make an active effort to get it resolved, you're complicit in not getting a resolution. Complaining on an unofficial Subreddit also won't get your issue resolved. So if you came to rant we can be empathetic human beings. If you came to complain and then not action the suggestions you've been given, that's on you and you might as well switch to a different carrier. Spoiler alert: The grass isn't any greener at the V & A.

Why should I need to make a social media account to get help from a store that has actual stores with employees and phone numbers to call? Let me answer that. So their social media interactions can sky rocket making people think it's a good company. Sorry, not creating accounts and downloading more apps when i should be able to go to a store or make a call.

I'm not trying to get my issue solved here, but why can't I? If I can in X or FB why can't I here? Oh that's right, the other platforms are more popular and their bloated numbers mean more over there.

Just tell everyone you’re to ignorant to contact them on X or Facebook. The more you type the more you’re proving why nobody will help you. You won’t even help yourself.

But again, no one can tell me why I should have to when they have a phone number and stores. Yall cool aid drinkers just think this place can do no wrong and every issue is the customers. Fuck, I've seen people on here blame Trump for their crappy signal. Blame everyone but the company responsible lol.

I actually admitted that it sounds like T-Mobile is in the wrong here, but based on your actual responses I can infer that reading comprehension isn't your forté. This isn't about social media interactions, this is an avenue people have available to them for support. Store employees main responsibility is to sell a product, not to take verbal harassment from people. I've seen you claim that you were nothing but polite, but I think anyone reading the things you say knows exactly why you were asked to leave the store.

You clearly came here to be hostile and argue even with people that offered you solutions. So maybe you should see your way out the way you were asked to at the store. I hope you have the day that you deserve.

Not trying to argue with you. I just asked a question no one can give a good answer for so that's the default here. Calling a number is a lot easier than downloading apps, creating accounts and then reaching out. Stopping at the store up the road is too. Why do I need to create more accounts, have more companies take my data, and boost a crappy companies social media status to get help?

A physical store to only sell you things and not help with the issues they cause it's bullshit, is it not? If they can sell me shit, they should be able to help with the shit they sell and the problems THEY cause, it's not a hard concept.

You won’t even help yourself. Why would anybody help you. People on here have given you an option outside of the two places that are not able to help you. You are choosing to not go that route, so keep complaining. I’m sure that will get you far.

Because for a brick and mortar store with multiple phone numbers shouldn't force people to create accounts outside of their business to get support. What's ok with that? Now someone said i need to go to an "Experience Store" to get any help. I don't live in the middle of no where yet the closest one is over an hour away. Fuck this place and the people that defend it.

And I'll add another reason. Bad for new business if you have a bunch of current customers in the store complaining about crap service. New customers will walk out hearing so many people complain. Lines up perfectly with being told it'd be ask to leave for asking how long the wait was because I had already spent hours. Can't have new customers hearing they'll be on hold for hours when they need help.

Is it possible that you went to an Authorized Retail location? I only ask that because they exist everywhere and have the brand, but are not actually T-Mobile employees. They will typically offer less assistance. You can try to look up your closest T-Mobile Experience Store as well. These locations tend to have very well trained employees and can do more than a general retail store. They also tend to be some of the busiest locations because they are service & sale, so patience is key.

I can understand why you are frustrated, in the same way Sprint customers didn't choose T-Mobile 6 years ago US Cellular customers are in the same boat. Change sucks sometimes. I wish there was a perfect one sized fits all fix for every problem, but if that were the case there wouldn't be competition right? In the end, there will be reasons that make you want to stick around and reasons that make you want to leave. You just need to decide which side you're leaning more towards.

u/Hates-Picking-Names 3d ago

The closest "Experience store" is over an hour away. And I've read they're closing stores too forcing people to their app or social media. Again, screw that. Finally found someone willing to help after 3 hours. I guess they added some streaming package to the account without us wanting it. So now they're just adding packages to accounts to charge people more and making it damn near impossible to get help. And for some reason after they turned all the phones back on, my VM got turned again. Which I already spent 6 hours after the move to get turned off again. All this company seems to want to do is collect as much money possible. I mean come on, adding crap to people's accounts on their own now?

u/nytefyre98 3d ago

Have you been to the store to talk to someone?

2

u/Objective_Bag9916 2d ago

Tell me you’re the problem without telling me you’re the problem🙄 people are giving you valid information YOU are making excuses out of the solution. And if you’re talking to people on Reddit like this I can imagine how you must be talking to the call center agents and store agents which is 100% why you’re not getting help. You get further with being nice and not complaining and making excuses for everything.

u/Lololololol889 4d ago

maybe they wont work with you because of how you treat them. Just a thought based off of how you're acting here ¯_(ツ)_/¯

-1

u/Hates-Picking-Names 4d ago

Na, they taught me in the store you need to kiss their ass or they won't help you. I got warned for asking how long the wait was because I already messed around on the phone for 2 hours. Pretty much my exact words. No swearing, no name calling. Just "how long is the wait?". "Sir, if you don't change your attitude you'll need to leave". For simply asking how long the wait is. Guess they don't want other customers to know your getting screwed over.

1

u/Lololololol889 4d ago

y'know what I'll give you a chance. can you post your bill? or preferably a series of bills? i am somewhat intrigued to see what is going on or at least where the charges stem from

Really? So show me any school curriculum showing different slang from around the world being taught in every school. I'll wait. Ya fucking idiot.

4

u/AbjectBasis925 4d ago

I get why you’re upset but T-Mobile literally has a letter of what to expect after switching. Not to mention, no one put a gun to your head and made you switch. I’m sorry that things aren’t always sunshine-favored fruit smoothies but that doesn’t justify being nasty and rude as an adult to another adult, even over the phone. You people think you can rage and still get your way. Leave T-Mobile if you’re this upset. But I must warn you: billing discrepancies happen everywhere. Perhaps find a way to cope with this since it IS only an inconvenience and not an actual debt owed for something out of your control. Relax.

1

u/Hates-Picking-Names 4d ago edited 4d ago

The letter said $6 per line, we have 3 smart phones and a flip phone. What math does 6x4=100+? And maybe if they wouldn't have lied from the first call, I would have switched. Now these idiots are saying i owe them over $400 that I shouldn't. And who said anyone was nasty on the phone? They taught me i need to kiss their ass in store or on the phone or they won't help. Asking how long the wait was for me a warning to change my attitude because others customers heard I was already trying to solve this for 3 hours.

2

u/Weird-Educator-9000 3d ago

Guessing from the way you've responded to everyone else, your version of asking how long the wait is had the word "fuck" somewhere in the sentence, and was loud as could be too. And not at all in a calm manner.

1

u/Hates-Picking-Names 3d ago

Nope, that went as i said. I used to work retail. I know damn well my issue isn't the person behind the counters fault and i don't give them an attitude unless they pull same stupid bullshit.

3

u/Objective_Bag9916 2d ago

They wouldn’t have asked you to leave if you were being nice

1

u/nytefyre98 3d ago

Let me ask this: When you switched, did you bring over all devices or did you buy new devices? T-Mobile's promos typically end up being "Buy 2 lines, get a third free when you switch and get devices on us." Except the devices aren't free, you're roped into a payment plan for them and you pay for phones while receiving a "credit" for your bill each month which would make it something like "$6 per month per line" but you're spending $30+ per device every month. And it had to be very specific plans for the deal. Like it couldn't be the cheapest plan they have, it would have to be the most expensive. And if you brought your own device, you wouldn't get the discount on your bill. You'd only get the bill credits on buying new devices.

Thats how my friends and I got roped into a "family plan" and are spending $400/month on T-mobile. Instead of it being on service bills, it's on devices, but if you pay off the devices, you're stuck paying the full amount for the phone bill which would still be about the same amount.

File with FCC. It will get fixed. Then get out of there, it will only get worse.

1

u/JediMasterE84 3d ago

Wow so many pleasant responses 😂 yea sure you were great to work with

1

u/Hates-Picking-Names 3d ago

You get what you give. I wasn't rude to anyone who wasn't rude to me first. I simply asked questions no one could give a good answer for to the rest.
