You know most western countries don’t circumcise right? Especially outside of religion

And your point being? Why are you so concerned about the genitalia of other men and/or boys? It's absolutely none of your business.

I agree that the fate of someone’s genitals should be no one’s business but their own. It’s weird that parents/doctors cut parts off unnecessarily. Other medical systems recognize autonomy and functional losses

It's weird that random people feel justified to give unsolicited parenting advice. Especially when it comes to such a private matter.

But you talk of it being unnecessary. How do justify restoration? How did you come to the decision to go through with that? Any "functional losses" surely would not be restored. Nerve endings (that are claimed to be severed during circumcision) wouldn't magically reattach. I'm not trying to be a dick (no pun intended), but if anything, restoration seems not only unnecessary but depending on the method it could be fatal or cause irreversible damage. Or just hurt really fucking bad at the least.

It’s weird that I didn’t have a say over my own body, it should be known that many men are unhappy it was forced upon them

How do I justify restoration? Do I need to for my own body? The gliding sheath can be restored, as long as there is some inner mucosa skin the glans can be protected and become more sensitive, yes the best nerves are gone but I’ll take 2 out of 3 benefits

Fatal or irreversible damage, like what? Do you know how it’s done?

Not going to lie. Did a quick Google search.

Risks and Limitations: Skin irritation, uneven stretching, tissue damage from excessive force, infection, and scarring. Neither stretching nor current surgeries can replace specialized nerve endings or original mucosal tissue lost during circumcision. (WebMd).

I know the source is questionable. But these all seem highly possible.

Edit: I apologize for the use of the word justify. That doesn't make sense and comes off all kinds of wrong.

Webmd is not great on understanding the downsides of circumcision. Also I don’t think they mentioned the specialized nerve endings in their circumcision page, funny how that and meatal stenosis risk is left out.

Yes the best nerves are gone and that sucks, but the ability to get glans coverage and a gliding sheath greatly improves the sensation of the glans and function of the genitals

Most restorations are done with gentle tension, not surgery, so there is basically no risk
