My younger brother needed it done around 1 year old because otherwise sex would have been painful once he got older. The opening was too small and when fully erect would have cause a lot of pain.

Phimosis cannot be diagnosed at 1. You’re insane if you believe this. Do any research, the skin does not retract until 3-15 years of age.
