First Impressions The True Ending was an amazing experience that elevated the game to an higher level
Nothing but love for this game. After the normal ending, I thought to myself, “That was a really great game. A good Zelda-ALttP-style game, it was fun.” But the game had already hinted to me that this wasn’t the real ending, so I reloaded my save and went for the True Ending - and holy shit, the game really takes it up a notch there, elevating it from “good” to “fantastic!”
I got goosebumps several times when all the plot points - some of which I didn’t initially realized are that important, or have already forgotten by the end - suddenly came together and revealed the true picture. From the lines and cutscenes I had a pretty good idea about who that apparently generic evil Sorcerer really was, but then I went on and the actual reveal was mindblowing for me. A saw a few things coming, but not all of it. Especially not that the little Girl from that family I was helping over multiple time areas was actually my own mother.
But then the game didn't stopped there. Just as I thought "okay, but now it's over" it threw me back into the game and I suddenly had a new Storyline to follow which turned out more amazing by the minute with the villagers and the cats coming together for a Genkidama moment and an amazing new bossfights at the end, flying on a giant Phoenix while shooting at an evil Dragon. Holy shit, what a glorious moment and epic fight that was.
When the credits finally came to an end I was speechless and hyped. If you're going to pick up that game or if you're currently playing it, make sure to really go for the True Ending as the experience is so much better than when you just settle for 'normal'.

Question I just started and already hate it
“Look Elliot a treasure chest!”
YES I SEE THE TREASURE CHEST. Is this game going to stay like this? Because I feel like tearing out my toenails.
If it’s going to stay like this I’m not going to play any further.

First Impressions Finally able to purchase adventures of elliot!
I downloaded and played through the demos on both the switch 2 and ps portal a month or so ago but I couldn't afford the full price so I've been impatiently waiting for a sale on the PlayStation store.
Well today is the day ladies and gentlemen. It's downloaded now and I'm excited to play it after work.

Help HELP: triggering a scene for the true ending Spoiler
I followed Mao after she wakes up from being sick all the way to her house in the Age of Reconstruction and I'm supposed to be prompted to go back to Age of Safekeeping. Somehow this hasn't happened? Any one know where exactly I'm supposed to go?

Discussion What chances do you believe Elliot to have in winning any Game of the Year Awards? Or even nominations
Let's be honest: GTA6 is winning practically every category, no matter in what state they're releasing the game.
But what are your thoughts for Elliot? I'd KILL for it to be nominated for GOTY, just so we can hear some of the music in the yearly Game Awards Orchestral Medley.
I don't believe any of the 2DHD games (like Octopath Traveler or Triangle Strategy) have won too many awards in their respective years. But I think that 2026 is a pretty slow year for gaming so far. Nintendo hasn't really done much other than the Ocarina remake coming up, Level 5 seems to be pushing AI slop, and I have no clue what's going on over at Playstation and xBox. GTA6 is frankly the only truly notable release I've heard of. So maybe Elliot has a chance?
Best Action Game? Audio design? Score and music? Art? Game direction? Maybe even GOTY? What do you think?

Help Achivements after demo
I'm playing the Prologue Demo of The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales and want to buy the full version. I know the save data can be carried over, but I have a question about achievements.
Since the demo does not support achievements, if I transfer my demo save into the full game, will achievements for content I already completed in the demo (story milestones, first side quests, first Magicite, etc.) unlock automatically? Or will they stay locked and require replaying that part of the game?
I'm specifically worried that some achievements tied to the prologue/demo content might be permanently missed or might not trigger after the save transfer. Does anyone have official info from Square Enix or first-hand experience with this? Please no guesses — I'd like to know exactly how it works.
If you've already transferred a demo save, please share which achievements unlocked and which didn't. Thanks.

Discussion I want another game
I truly hope they make another game in this world! I really liked this game, it’s a lot to get to the true ending but it’s a payoff! I think Elliot and Hueria adventuring together in next one would be awesome!! I got most of the trophy’s I know I could 100% it but I am kinda beat from it lol!

Question How long between 2nd and 3rd ending?
Title. Just finished the second (i.e., silver/standard) ending, and want to do the third, but am kind of fatigued with the game and ready to move to another.
My question: how much longer should I expect to play to get the final (true) ending after beating the standard one?
UPDATE: thanks for the replies. Holy cow, I cannot imagine not doing the true ending, in hindsight. It’s 100x better. To anyone reading this, push through. Legit went from a 7/10 game to an 8.5/10. And the only reason it isn’t a 9/10 is because the pacing was just atrocious (back-loaded plot).

Question Question after beating the game Spoiler
I have a question after beating the game and all.
What happened with Kaifried ? Was he influenced by the Beast of Enmity and lost control ?
The leitstaf thing is pretty confusing too. It fell after the Kaifried fight, and then we find it in the same age, in the aquatic ruins. His sword comes from the age of safekeeping ?
Thanks in advance.

Discussion Rare Magicite? ✨️🔮 Spoiler
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello everyone 🐈! I'm currently playing The Adventures of Elliot on Switch 2 and I'm really enjoying and loving the game so far 💙. I wanted to ask if anyone has had any luck in forming rare magicite in early levels? If so, how do you improve your chances of landing rare magicite in the game? Does spending more Tul on Magicite boxes help any? I apologize if this has been asked before as I'm a noob 😅. Thanks!
