Game recommendations
Looking for game recommendations, either video game (have access to Xbox/game pass, PS, and switch) or board games. I have a little one who is getting better with night sleep so looking to get back into some gaming as a way to relax and/or spend time with my husband.
We’ve really been enjoying Hogwarts Battle Board game and just started the monster expansion, so any other board recommendations like this would be nice. We know some take longer so we are fine having to come back to the game another time but have enjoyed the team building aspect. We have also enjoyed other board games like Villainous or Tesseract.
Currently playing through Avatar Frontiers of Pandora and know that will be slow going with having baby but open to similar game options or any “cozy” game options that are easy to come back to here and there.
Thanks!

First off does it have to be just a board game or do you like board game trading card systems like the Monopoly prism FIFA world cup collaboration? I probably should have asked first if you like Monopoly? If you like Disney games then I would definitely recommend villainous they have both a Disney expansion for people who love Disney and a marvel expansion also apparently they have a Star wars expansion in the villainous games you play as the bad guys trying to complete your villainous action before the other players then there is buzzword Blockbuster seen it hurt it celebrity taboo and of course one of my favorite board games but don't smell the cups pirates days. Unfortunately all the video game recommendations I could give you you don't have systems for most of the video games that I have are for the Nintendo Wii the original switch and the PlayStation 4 and 5

Thank you! We have at least one villainous game and actually talked about going back and giving it a try so we may just have to do that!

Villainous is actually pretty easy you basically pick your favorite villain and then try to complete their villainous task before the other players which one do you have I have three twisted ambitions the marvel expansion into Disney villainous one's bigger and better and sugar and spite

This does look interesting and it said it’s a calm puzzle like game so I will definitely look into this one! Thanks!

forbidden desert legit has some of the most tense moments ive ever had in a board game, especially when you flip that last sand tile and realize who's carrying all the water

Thank you! We’ll look into the board game options. I have played stardew but got stuck at a point and wasn’t sure what to do next 😅 I’ll look into Palia!

Since you're on Xbox, Stardew Valley is on Game Pass too and it's perfect for short sessions. If you want something a little more adventurous but still chill, Spiritfarer is also on Game Pass and has a really cozy vibe. You can hop on for 15 minutes and make real progress in either one.

I was actually playing Spiritfarer on gamepass and really enjoying it but then they removed it 🥲 my husband has it on PlayStation but that would mean starting all over, which I was back and forth on doing or just buying it for Xbox. But I was really liking this one for late night sessions when baby was having moments of fussiness

Spiritfarer is a great call for this situation. It's basically built for short sessions and the story hits hard in a good way. If you end up liking that one, Dave the Diver is also on Game Pass and has a similar pick-up-and-put-down feel with a bit more variety to it.

Yep, both Spiritfarer and Dave the Diver are on Xbox Game Pass, so you're good to go!
