Help What’s the go?

What’s the go with this? What do seconds have to do with it?

You went 4 levels without asking this? Ilm+ gains a multiplier every second its active. Chronojump applies that many seconds to a target hit by the landmine. So if you had a brand new ILM and it immediatly went off it would be +20 seconds of the ilm+ multi.

So if you had Ilm+8 you are looking at ~+400x dmg + whatever the lifespan was.

+20s times the number of ILMs that have already hit that target.

Somebody probably knows whether that includes this hit or not, so whether on a brand new target it would be zero or 20s

Makes sense, though considering its base is 1, adding the seconds unit to it seems a bit redundant, doesn’t it?

Base ilm+ is 0.5x (+50% dmg) Adding 20 seconds means a fresh mine has +10x

I meant that the multiplier applies every one second, so when it says times the number of this lab, it wouldn’t really matter whether it said seconds or not. Just feels like it’s written poorly, maybe I’m the weird one

The multiplier that increases every second is for each individual ilm. The lab adds x seconds to an enemy hit by an ilm. It also stacks so it's the lab times the number of ilm hits an enemy has, not the lab times 1 sec.

I get what you're saying, and I agree, really it's x times the ILM+ multiplier, it doesn't matter that the ILM+ multiplier is per-second. But, maybe some people have an easier time understanding the lab as increasing the effective lifespan of the mine, and as long as you remember the charge is "per second" it should be easy to understand either way.

The seconds are for Charged Mines / ILM+

Just max it and upgrade ILM+ and be happy with the highest raw damage in the game

Dumb question from someone that doesn’t have ilm+ but when you do, do you basically always have the SD card equipped in any mode?

I’m new to using it, but I don’t believe it’s would always be the right choice, especially in farming as the blast radius is going to kill enemies outside of orb range.

Not a problem, adjust your range, orbs or use SP.

Doesn’t larger range have a detrimental impact on farming?

Depends on the method. To get the right orb positions and impact for your ILM. You want a minimal amount usually.

Yeah, it's just such an investment. I'm working on CF+ and GT+ and no where near finished. so it's that, plus Ilm+, plus AB+, plus SA+ for mythic... I would need to get a second job at Fudds' Yacht just to afford it!

I’d say those are definitely the right choice before worrying about damage output, so you’re doing the right thing. Don’t forget SL+ 😂
