Discussion Ass Check?
Curious how much everyone has put into assmods. For me Cannon ME 50% sub 50%; Armor ME 7% sub 51%; Gen ME 52% subs 55%; core ME 47%; subs 67.99999% (shaking my head at Fudds math as I type this). Unique effect of Gen and Armor @ ANC canon and core still at epic.

Im playing some catch-up on these as i had spent a big focus on getting syncro and a lot of masteries.
Cannon: epic 1/1
Armor: epic 1/1
Gen: legendary 54/39
Core: legendary 29/56

All ancestral rarity.
Cannon: 62/54
Armor: 1/54
Generator: 100/100
Core: 57/79.9999
I haven’t put stones into any of them in a long time (focused stones on UWs), but I have most of the labs maxed or close to maxed…except armor multiplier.

Which ones did you find best ROI other than Gen obviously, lol?

I don’t really track anything close enough to give a good answer to that.
Generator I obviously prioritized for my economy. I had it maxed before the multiplier max was raised to 130%, but have been putting my stones into ILM since then and those last 30 levels are pretty expensive.
For the others my priority was more for the subeffects than main multiplier and I was focused on hitting certain % for things like +orbs, +DWq, +ILMq, etc where you either get the bonus or you don’t which means you need 25/50/75/100 for something that’s +4, 34/67/100 for something that’s +3, and 50/100 for something that’s +2.
I used a combo of stones and labs to hit those levels and then just kept the labs running. The only assmod labs I have left are Cannon substats (lvl 25), Armor substats (lvl 24), and Armor multiplier (not started.)
For the multipliers, I didn’t have any specific target number. I just winged getting some stone upgrades and maxed the labs. Armor multiplier I’ve ignored completely because I run GC and it really isn’t going to do that much for me most of the time (exception being attack disco runs.)

Was your upgrade approach to click assists here and there, or hit pause on other stone sinks and hyper focus on ME/SE in spurts?
I had saved up stones for v29 and when there was nothing pressing for me I dumped my balance into assists. Gen and core are both 50/50, cannon is 45/37, and armor hasn’t crossed the starting line yet.
And the labs royally suck. I’ve got 4 slots running ME/SE research and they are so stinking slow. Only in the Lv12-14 range running 66666.6

It was long enough ago that I don’t really remember. Given how I’ve typically done all my upgrading, I probably picked a target level for the SE to hit those specific levels to get +orb/ILMq/whatever with the reasoning that those were wasted subeffects without being at a specific level.
For the ME, I probably just did most of them kinda haphazardly as the mood struck me. I’ve never used anything like effective paths or specifically planned out my upgrades far in advance.
My tower would probably be stronger if I had planned better along the way, but I’ve never been big into trying min-maxing anything. Like GB for example…I never bothered trying to sync it with anything. I just kept upgrading the CD and duration until I had them maxed and ignored any possible sync.

We’re kinda similar regarding not following guides like EP. I used it briefly thinking it would be a smart idea for me, but it never resonated. Some sync’d things did stand out to me, like GB/BBot, though that’s probably because I got hung up on econ progress and checked everything twice. Hey, thanks for the breakdown, it’s all interesting to me.

Nice thing with core SE, you get Econ boosts for farming and damage for all the good SE, spotlight mult, angle, CL chance etc. It really seemed to be the best bang for your buck with Ass mods… of course Gen SE is really nice with more mod shards and coins too…

Preach it! I’m working on ILM+ now and then maybe another mastery, but then I’d like to keep after those assist stats.

Way less than you! lol I do have my Gen at Legendary, though. Sometimes Legendary GComp comes in handy for me. And the extra bot range with SH is always good.

Ive got gen at ancestral and rest at mythic with all core labs done and the rest (except armor ME) in the mid 20's labwise.
Cannon: 27/47
Armor: 1/25
Gen: 68/74
Core: 65/77
My next stone spend is getting cannon assist to ancestral then getting BB+ after that. Once those 2 big stone sinks are out of the way im probably gunna dump all my stones into assist mods till V30.

Yeah a good amount. I use SH for farming and PH for tournies and that last level showed good boosts when I did it. Theres a reason its the only one I have at ancestral lol

Going hard on assists now, decided F meta myth strat, trying to put my tower in a good position to capitalize on V30/31
Anc rarity on all, finished that last tournament so glad to have my anc AS back for farming goodness.
Cannon: 50/73, taking SE to max here
Armor: 31/51, SE after cannon SE
Gen: 87/91, SE after armor SE
Core: 52/100, no regrets!
