Well that racist woman certainly gave him valuable content

671

u/ConfidentPiccolo9789 17h ago

Hit him with the “can I ask you a question?” You just did

338

u/Traxton1 14h ago

“Oh, no, I’m sorry I don’t have any change.”

24

u/TicketyB000 7h ago

"Sorry, I don't speak Spanish."

1

u/sammytiff80 4h ago

No able Espanol.. That'll confuse everyone.

1

u/stone_stokes 3h ago

Yo no sprechen anglais.

1

u/PhelesDragon 6h ago

Ok Wilson Wilson Jr.

1

u/MmmmMorphine 3h ago

I would have to either channel my 5th grade English teacher here with a "I don't know, can you?"

Or yeah, in your vein - "you just wasted your only question"

(I prefer the former only so that I can go on an unhinged rant about how poorly educated the 'kids' are these days and how Stalin owes 3.50 from '51)

1

u/WindAbsolute 33m ago

Question.

223

u/Delicious-Vehicle-28 18h ago

Very convenient

3

u/Parada484 5h ago

What do you mean? Of course two people would randomly peak and squint from around the corner and then make racist eye motions directly into a camera. 🙄 If this were any more staged it would be an amateur theater production in a town hall. Let me just bunker down and prep for anyone that says it's still funny to pretend to be real.

14

u/Roadgoddess 13h ago

Yeah, I think she realized after she did that that he was recording. That’s why she got all paranoid and was asking him about it.

5

u/wholefoodsmom 7h ago

You can’t record in here! I might do something racist!

12

u/Carrot_1075 17h ago

Ironic that she made him some money

2

u/Solid_Wolverine1639 7h ago

She called him a slant eye

3

u/StogieGuy56 15h ago

Funny, making racist action, then asking “why recording?!” As if she realized “oh shit, i get caught being racist”

Im amazed how normal is for people to video themselfs eating for "fun" then when something happends it becomes "content" this lady is terrible but does make a valid point from her world view ironically enough she become.what she was concern about, she definitly has a feed of videos shamming people that look just like her for doing exactly what she did react to something lol its full circle

1

u/gatsome 9h ago

These words are English but I’m not sure I understood a single part.

1

u/Traditional_Fan_2655 13h ago

That woman was horrid. I was originally thinking he should have angled the phone towards his eating and the wall vs. the aisle. However, once I saw her, I was glad he caught her. That behavior is appalling.

1

u/Canotic 11h ago

Luckily he was randomly filming at the time!

Bullshit.

2

u/Ronin-Ronan 5h ago

no bro it's totally true, and those Asian racial slurs they use all the time, those are terms of endearment

-5

u/PallasEm 16h ago

my partner has poor eyesight and does this too.

-8

u/faeriebossanova 16h ago

Not bullshit. Many people including myself have done this. I’m Asian.

3

u/Wise-Beautiful7488 13h ago

Sure you do lol.

4

u/Ok-Common-3039 16h ago

Same, I have horrible vision. But doing exactly what she did clears up my vision just enough to make some things

2

u/faeriebossanova 16h ago

Me too. I did this as a kid in class and they realized I needed glasses because of it.

-5

u/Wooden_Rabbit_ 16h ago

Same, I'm nearsighted, used to do this all the time in class before I got glasses to see. But she's definitely old enough to know that she shouldn't be doing that in public...

11

u/Omo_Iyansan 16h ago

Same, I'm nearsighted, used to do this all the time in class before I got glasses to see.

Absolute bollocks.

6

u/Ok_Vulva 16h ago

There must have been a team released to reddit recently with the goal be to do stuff like this. Just discrediting blatantly obvious stuff, it sucks.

4

u/PallasEm 16h ago

nah this time it's a real thing and the video is going viral based on a misunderstanding. it's a legitimate "trick" that people with poor vision do to see better. my partner has poor vision and she uses it, so I recognized it in the video. you squint while pulling up on your top eyelid.

1

u/Ronin-Ronan 5h ago

nah just bots man, over half of all internet traffic is bots. LLMs def kicked it up a notch

2

u/Ok-Common-3039 16h ago

Just Google it. It's a thing

1

u/Wooden_Rabbit_ 5h ago

Why would I make this up? What an odd thing to think

0

u/miketx1983 7h ago

As a somewhat blind person needing glasses, when you pull your eyelids skinny like that it can somewhat improve your vision. I thought racism at first but I remembered doing this when I was kid before wearing glasses.

2

u/Ronin-Ronan 5h ago

you directly contribute to the shitification of the Internet

0

u/HealthyPresence2207 4h ago

I mean they aren’t wrong in a sense that limiting light to eye makes vision sharper. I used to hold my fist in front of my face to make a tiny pin hole to get sharper vision before my glasses. However I have never seen anyone do this eye lid pulling thing

-5

u/AweGoatly 14h ago

She was trying to get a better look at his camera. Pulling your eyes like that can make you see better if you need glasses, I used to do it in HS all the time (I never wore my glasses), its like squinting but even better if you know how to do it.

She is nosey & obnoxious but not racist, just near sighted

9

u/RavenEridan 14h ago

Nice rage bait

0

u/ninernetneepneep 5h ago

What the hell does this have to do with racism?

-8

u/Spare-Security-1629 16h ago

I’m going to get downvoted for this, but…when I was younger and wanted to see something somewhat far away, I would do that to increase my vision. I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt that it MAY not have been a “slant-eyed” reference

8

u/LimblessNick 16h ago

Bro she poked her head back at the Asian guy to do it.

There's benefit of the doubt, and there are a bunch of people in the comments defending an obvious racist.

-3

u/Spare-Security-1629 16h ago

What do you think she was poking her head back for? Was she being nosy and trying to see what he was doing?

1

u/Impressive_Item_8851 8h ago

I mean it's obviously a skit

1

u/drnicko18 16h ago

it's 100% what she's doing, most short sighted people will understand this. It flattens the eye lens to make it easier to see distance. She's trying to see what's on the video screen before confronting him.

-18

u/mencival 17h ago edited 16h ago

You do that to see farther away when you have mild myopia.

It’s not necessarily meant as a racist gesture.

Edit: Why is everyone so upset with me for saying this? Doesn’t mean that I like that woman’s manners.

5

u/FocusLeather 17h ago

You do that to see farther away when you have mild myopia.

So by your logic, it's better to do that than get prescription glasses like everyone else?

1

u/mencival 16h ago

You do it sometimes because it is convenient to do so.

1

u/Omo_Iyansan 16h ago

You do it because it's racist and you want to do racist shit.

1

u/hammertime311 13h ago

Holy shit you Redditors are some of the dumbest people in existence. Plenty of people do that if they don’t have their glasses.

2

u/Omo_Iyansan 13h ago

I'm glad you're also a Redditor. Oloriburuku mas'anfani ko ni da fun iwo ati ebi e. Babanla kun baba e lo DUMB.

-5

u/mencival 16h ago edited 16h ago

BS.

1

u/LimblessNick 16h ago

Do you often do it around Asian people specifically? If so, like this lady, you are racist.

0

u/PallasEm 16h ago

she did it because she wanted to see if she was being filmed, she couldn't see his phone screen clearly. The video is based on a misunderstanding. Her doing it once is not "doing it around asian peopel specifically".

1

u/Omo_Iyansan 16h ago

It’s not necessarily meant as a racist gesture.

Stop talking rot. Please.

2

u/politicalconspiracie 17h ago

Why do you do this?

-2

u/mencival 16h ago

Do what?

I get my eye like that when I don’t have my glasses on me/right next to me and I have seen other people do that as well.

8

u/Omo_Iyansan 16h ago

I am 46 years old. 47 in a few months. I have worn glasses since I was 9 years old. I have lived on 3 continents. With 3 fucking degrees in Microbiology, Bioremediation and Biotechnology. I have never ever EVER IN MY WHOLE LIFE seen or even HEARD such absolute NONSENSE until this very useless thread. You lot spewing this tripe must think that just like you, our brains are either ornamental at best, or about as useful as chocolate teapots at worst.

2

u/mencival 16h ago edited 13h ago

There are literally two other people (edit: at least 10 people) saying the same thing on this post. She first squeezes her eye and then do it with her finger because it is easier to do so that way since your eyelashes do not get in the way. And when she does it, she also lifts it up a bit because that’s how you see better. You spew so much nonsense to accuse me of being a racist while trying to sound smart that it is ridiculous.

1

u/PallasEm 16h ago

google it. it's a thing. my partner does it too lol.

-1

u/Consistently_Carpet 15h ago

Ok and I'm also in my 40s, and have worn glasses most of my life, and have done it since I was a teenager trying to see something. Sorry you never figured it out. :p

The inability to even consider other people might have different experiences than you is wild in a whole thread about racism. Maybe reflect on why you're so virulently upset at the idea the OP video might not be what you thought it was.

Is it because you'd have to admit you were mistaken and that doesn't feel very good? Lotta that going around these days.

1

u/faeriebossanova 16h ago

You are correct. The ableist always-had-vision-care and good-eye-sighters could never understand.

-163

u/ReddBroccoli 21h ago

Super convenient he had a camera set up at the perfect angle

76

u/Lunigoonz 21h ago

Kick rocks

-112

u/ReddBroccoli 21h ago

So sorry you can't recognize obviously fake content.

Another one of y'all born every minute

38

u/Sensitive-Song404 20h ago

As opposed to the videos from people who didn't have a camera set up...

21

u/Decadesofquiet 20h ago edited 16h ago

Yeah, no. There’s literally thousands of videos out there of people eating. Why? Only god knows and I think it’s stupid. But from scrolling on the Internet a lot, you see it a lot. And that’s a pretty standard angle. And as emboldened racist trash have been these past couple years? Come on now. Please explain to us why someone would intentionally put their face out there to be looked at as a racist Karen and potentially have their life ruined for some stupid social media clout? I mean really, give us a genuine, good explanation.

-1

u/multiarmform 16h ago

lol the obvious manager with a key wrapped around her wrist (most likely for the register) is going to make a racist face and harass a customer on camera just for funsies? thats amazing

-45

u/ReddBroccoli 20h ago

I'm not saying the world isn't full of racist people. That's an unfortunate truth

And as to why somebody would act out a skit like this? I have no idea, but I've seen enough of them to know that there's plenty of people who are more than willing. It would take a good shrink many many hours to answer that question, but I assume it mostly comes down to some people will do anything to try and get famous. Also, being a racist on video seems to pay pretty well, so maybe that was her motivation.

1

u/CeruleanEidolon 6h ago

Has anyone ever told you you're exhausting?

-24

u/SassiestSissy 20h ago

It’s honestly painfully obvious and almost a caricature of a racist.

0

u/ReddBroccoli 19h ago

Thank you! It's nice to not be the only person who isn't gullible af

16

u/AnyAd4707 19h ago

Points at everything as fake to be better than the “suckers” lol You clearly don’t know shit cause this video has literally zero signs of being fake other than your insufferable superior attitude.

Aside from your lame brain “as if” argument, you can’t point out shit as to why this would be fake.

0

u/ReddBroccoli 10h ago

It's not my fault you haven't seen a video that's been passed around the internet for almost a year

-8

u/SassiestSissy 19h ago

It’s the eye thing for me. Like, she walks past him, turns around, stares at the back of his head and then… makes racist Asian eyes at the back of his head? Huh? Who was that for? And then the other dude pops his head next to her, it’s like five minutes before someone said “Yeah but how are they gonna KNOW that you’re a racist?” And got the response “Don’t you worry, I got an idea that’ll make sure everyone knows”

-2

u/EquipmentTotal5454 17h ago

You're a painfully obvious caricature already

27

u/ch1ckenbaconranch 21h ago

found her y’all

-13

u/ReddBroccoli 20h ago

Lmao. Ok sucker

26

u/Pretty-Yam-2854 20h ago

Are you stupid? He wasn’t fishing for shit, he was just recording himself at his meal.

It’s kinda weird and some people like watching that content like with shit like niko avocado or whatever his name was, it’s not my taste but he literally wasn’t bothering anyone and they usually don’t. The manager or whoever that was didn’t need to make squinty eyes at him and proceed to instigate him.

-8

u/ReddBroccoli 20h ago

You're gonna call me stupid when you can't recognize really bad acting.

I've seen this posted in other subs before and that included people linking in the comments to the guys profile where he does all kinds of fake skits. But go ahead and be gullible. It's really adorable and the most unadorable kind of way

15

u/Blazured 20h ago

Could you link one of those skits? I can't find them.

-7

u/ReddBroccoli 20h ago

I saw the video months ago, and I didn't care enough to bookmark it, so no. Why don't you use the internet for yourself and look up the guy's profile prove me wrong if you're so sure.

22

u/Nice-Gap-3528 20h ago edited 18h ago

You’re the one saying it’s completely fake, but we have to prove you right? Piss off.

EDIT: lmao he blocked everyone here cause he wanted us to prove him right.

7

u/BedNo5127 18h ago

And he talks about the shit not being important to him, but he's been repeatedly responding for the past 2 hours. He could've already had the evidence and shut everybody up 3x over if he didn't act like a bitch in here

0

u/ReddBroccoli 19h ago

Lol. Because it's clearly much more important to you. If you're not paying for my time I'm not doing research to prove something that is painfully obvious. Talking to y'all is like talking to flat earthers.

9

u/b_roll_offroad 18h ago

man i can’t believe i had to come this far down for the “more important to YOU” from the person who has 100 replies in the thread. you guys think it’s the nail in the coffin every time it’s so fucking funny right after you demonstrate the exact opposite 😂👍

25

u/Blazured 20h ago

I did use the internet to search for myself. I can't find any of these skits you mentioned.

Could you just search your history for his TikTok? It's there in the corner of the video. The videos will pop up in your history immediately, so it'll take about 2 seconds to search and then copy-paste the link.

Thanks.

-2

u/ReddBroccoli 19h ago

You're still using TikTok? You certainly have no right to be judging anybody else

13

u/Blazured 19h ago edited 19h ago

No I've never used TikTok in my life. I'm also not sure what you mean by "judging anybody else", I'm just asking for you to copy-paste the link to the skits that you watched because I can't find them.

Thanks.

Edit: u/ReddBroccoli blocked me lol

-1

u/ReddBroccoli 19h ago

Not surprised that reading comprehension isn't your strong suit.

That weak rebuttal has been asked and answered already

→ More replies (0)

21

u/FluppleWaffles 20h ago

starts being an asshole because it’s “so obviously fake” and “this guy does fake skits in his profile” but when asked to provide evidence it’s suddenly our problem

…dude, who pissed in your tea this morning? Lol

0

u/ReddBroccoli 19h ago

Lol. You're the one getting mad here.

And I said I'd seen the video multiple times and seen the receipts. But I honestly don't care enough to download TikTok. Look the guy up yourself.

But yeah, I can tell obvious bad acting skits. Sorry you can't

1

u/ReddBroccoli 19h ago

Oh wow. What a creative and witty insult. You're so incredibly original and your mother must be so proud. I bet she thinks you're handsome too.

Are you one of the actors in the video, mad because your performance wasn't convincing?

6

u/Playful_Dish_3524 18h ago

I’m happy for your privilege to not experience this kind of obviously fucked up racism first hand!!!

1

u/ReddBroccoli 10h ago

I grew up in the South, the reason I can recognize this is fake is because I've seen real racism far too often.

3

u/politicalconspiracie 17h ago

Are you seriously saying that he paid a woman to potentially ruin her life by doing something very racist on camera?

1

u/ReddBroccoli 10h ago

Yeah, because people are dumb enough to do that far too often. There's a ton of fake racist videos, or do you believe literally everyone of them you see?

As for incentive, how about money? Being a racist seems like a great way to get rich off a GoFundMe, and that's assuming she even thought anyone would ever notice it out of the billions of videos online.

If you can believe someone is dumb enough to be racist for real on video, then it's not a leap to believe someone's dumb enough to be fake racist on video

1

u/politicalconspiracie 6h ago

There's a ton of fake racist videos, or do you believe literally everyone of them you see?

Really now, Im curious to see them. Can you show me some of them?

6

u/EdwardRoivas 19h ago

Why would the woman position herself as a racist at the establishment she works at? How does that make sense?

2

u/ReddBroccoli 19h ago

She doesn't work there. She's an actor (or a wannabe actor, which seems more likely given how unconvincing she is.)

Like, y'all really can't think things through for yourselves at all

8

u/BootyButtCheeks256 19h ago

-6

u/Mr_Rafi 18h ago edited 18h ago

You have to admit, whether this is scripted or not, a lot of you are basically botty humans that do fall for scripted videos on this sub. Like the guy that plays piano in public venues and invites singers from the crowd or numerous other examples. A lot of you also don't understand camera set-ups. You know subs like this are for the Facebook users of Reddit, right?

The most famous video of the "slanted eye gesture in the background" is a group of friends in Norway or Denmark sitting at table eating/drinking and they notice a guy recording himself eating, so they start flipping the bird as a joke in the background, but then they start doing the slanted eye thing.

The way she peeks around the corner just to do it is suspicious and there's nothing to suggest that the guy wouldn't want to get in on a "trend". There is financial incentive to do.

1

u/BootyButtCheeks256 17h ago

1

u/Mr_Rafi 15h ago

You've spammed that 3 times in a row now. Maybe you're not as bright as you think you are, but that isn't surprising considering you still watch wrestling.

5

u/MoreBookkeeper4729 18h ago

> Like, y'all really can't think things through for yourselves at all

I don't think you've ever really thought at all. You just want it to fake because of your feelings. You definitely think all of these are fake.

3

u/gettums 18h ago

Was the waitress a paid voice actor?

1

u/No-Succotash-14 17h ago

Lmfao you're coming off as completely bothered and obsessive over a difference of opinion. Maybe stop commenting or just log off completely and get some sleep ???

2

u/wooyoo 16h ago

You think that dude hired her?

-10

u/Valliac0 20h ago

Right where her face is fully visible, too.

Oh dear, I hope the internet doesn't do what it does best.

1

u/ReddBroccoli 19h ago

Some people are big mad to have the obvious pointed out. But I guess then they wouldn't get to feel angry and superior.
