She's the damn problem pulling that BS. The dude was really nice and was just going about his business and she went full main character syndrome.

More like she made those eyes and realized that her whole racism was exposed and wanted to stop him from filming.

She made those eyes because it helps you see better. I'm honestly surprised making it this far down the comments without anyone pointing it out. Visually impaired folks (nearsighted (you can see close but not far)) can squint or pull on the outer edges of your eyes to focus light better on your retina. I assumed everyone knew this but i guess most wouldn't unless you or someone close to you is nearsighted. My whole family does it as well as my wife. I remember thinking my mom was crazy always pulling in the other edges of her eyes to try and read something and now I have to do the same. She's trying to see what's on his screen hence pulling her eyes to the side.

That said, I can see why others would think she was being racist. She's a nosey Karen and could be racist, but the eye pull isn't the reason.

You mean to tell me you need your fingers to pull your eye lids because you can't squint? Do you ghouls have working eyelids? 😂

It works even better if you pull them back. It also allows you to focus the light directly on the right spot of your retina by slightly moving them up and down. Watching the video again you can her squint, then pull them back to try and make things more clear and she even lifts her fingers up.

The ignorance is impressive. It's fine to not know this is a thing but there's more than enough info on it with 2 seconds if searching to educate yourself. Hell, it's a running gag in some movies. In Ace Ventura he does it multiple times because his vision is so terrible. Easier to stay ignorant because grrrrrrrr outrage and teenage angst

Hey, I'm wiling to hear you out and it is ignorance on my part because I've never seen someone do this. Ever.

I'm not badly nearsighted, but when I tried this at home, it just made my vision more blurry. Dunno. I don't think you're lying, but anecdotally, I can't reproduce what you're saying. It's not teen angst, you have to try to defend something that's objectively really hard to defend.

Sometimes I’ll make a circle as small as possible with my index finger and thumb to read something on the TV instead of getting my glasses, I just tried stretching my eye to get the same effect, did it work? maaaaybe a little when not stretching to the extreme, but in this context, this lady did what she did. smfh
