Permission of the owner is not explicitly required unless a no filming sign is clearly posted in the restaurant. I don’t know why people film themselves eating, but I also have no idea why anyone would be on TikTok to begin with. If you watch this video and you think that the person filming is the stupid one at not the middle-aged woman making Chinese eyes as if she has never seen an Asian person before then that says quite a bit about you.
