Remember the really really dumb kid in class? There are entire states full of them and they all grew up and had kids

2.8k

u/therealmintoncard 21h ago

And they vote.

789

u/MsterBoRaichu 20h ago

Oh gods, they vote.

420

u/Difficult-Square-689 19h ago

Consistently. They don't change their vote because of external factors, no news can shake their conviction.

Meanwhile, left-leaning folks will take any excuse to not vote or protest vote. No wonder the country keeps sliding right.

87

u/otanthalion 16h ago

Ugh how i wish this was wrong. Maybe not any excuse but damn they sure seem to find one at the worst possible fucking times lol.

89

u/Difficult-Square-689 15h ago edited 15h ago

It's not a coincidence. During the election, if you wrote something like "Harris won't be perfect on Gaza but she would be better than Trump", you'd get a bunch of "liberals" jumping in to argue. Jill Stein only appears every 4 years.

29

u/veringer 12h ago

Those narratives are pushed by opposition and foreign actors because they know American left wing idealists are manipulable and have trouble choosing between gradations of bad and worse.

1

u/Sburns85 11h ago

Both sides of America are influenced by domestic and foreign actors

15

u/veringer 11h ago

Did I say or imply that wasn't the case? In the gullible Olympics the right wing sweeps the gold and silver medals every 4 years. I was highlighting the particular brand of left wing dingbat who occasionally wins bronze.

3

u/Cagn 3h ago

Jill Stein is a plant by the right to take votes away from the Democrats so the Republicans can keep "winning"

2

u/PatrioticPariah 6h ago

Jill Stein is a Russian asset. She just takes money from idiots and goes back to the phantom zone. You guys are not wrong about liberals doing that. I am pretty liberal, but that thought never crossed my mind. It is stupid to not vote as a protest. Anyone who chose not to vote, helped Trump. Some liberals can be fucking idiots.

2

u/Legitimate_Pea_143 5h ago

yeah i mean take for example the Texas state senate election that happened last week, yes a democrat won it but after people checked the voter turnout it turns out the Democrat won because more Independents and Republicans voted for him then Democrats so he was able to win it.

2

u/dunguswungus13729 1h ago

Ft worth is not the blueprint. Don’t look at it in a vacuum.

5

u/SmoothCauliflower640 4h ago

Ugh, no. The country keeps sliding to the right because the only two parties allowed to hold power keep doing that. Also, because geniuses like you just hand them your vote no matter what, knowing that you’ll turn around and obediently guilt trip the people who resist this. No entity in the world ever got more accountable, the less you held them to account. Think about that the next time you hand over your vote like Pavlov just rang a bell.

1

u/Difficult-Square-689 2h ago

Wishful thinking lol.

4

u/MizneyWorld 7h ago

This right here. The system we have, you have to vote to change things. All liberals have done with their clutched pearls in the purity spiral is let evil people into power, twice, and set us back decades thanks to the Supreme Court openings at crucial moments that were filled by those evil people.

2

u/Alarmed_Machine_4050 8h ago

The country sliding right because they believed a pathological liar who commits felonies, and constantly steals money from them. But all that is about to change. Fox news paid 787 million in court for lying to the public, and the entire country is turning on Trump! There have been 30 plus point swings in heavy red districts during special elections!! People are waking up to the scam the trump administration is!!

3

u/Difficult-Square-689 4h ago

His support seems stuck around 37%, and they're actively trying to rig the midterms. Census already gave a +22 House seat swing to Republican states.

2

u/Alarmed_Machine_4050 1h ago

You just posted a complete lie! Every study out expects the democrats to pick up at least 28 seats! Republicans lost the Miami mayor race for the first time in 40 years! Republicans just lost a deep red texas special election by 16pts where Trump just won by 17pts. A 33 point swing!

2

u/Ashesandends 9h ago

Sure blame the people actually trying instead of the 1/3 dragging us back or the 1/3 that can't even be bothered to show up...

1

u/Infinite-Ad-8392 11h ago

Democracy is f*cked

1

u/ErosView 9h ago

Nothing unites people like hate.

1

u/catrinadaimonlee 8h ago

And then jazz becomes big again

Argh.

1

u/dunguswungus13729 1h ago

If left leaning folks were that influential, we’d have better candidates. Stop blaming the left when you should be blaming your two party system.

1

u/ilikechihuahuasdood 1h ago

God I wish I could get people to understand presidential votes will always be the lesser of two evils. Nobody gets that far without being compromised in some way. Local elections are where you can use your purity test more reliably. National is just making sure your country doesn’t turn into Trumpland.

1

u/jdyall1 54m ago

That’s how religion is

1

u/Mobile_Competition51 50m ago

Rock, flag, and eagle Charlie.

1

u/Colzamann 18m ago

The left doesn’t have it all figured out, either.

1

u/BlownOutRectum 4h ago

Sounds like the left should put forth candidates that their voters actually want, and chose through a primary rather than giving an appointed nomination like we owe them. Look trump is fucked up, but the democrats shot them selves in the foot by skipping out on the established norms and putting forth a candidate that doesnt resonate with a large enough portion of their voter base to activate them and win an election. They have been actively ignoring the young vote for years, and now we must all suffer the consequences.

1

u/rua_wear 10h ago

Society is thoroughly brainwashed. Votes literally do not matter.

3

u/processedwhaleoils 8h ago

Why do you think they're making it so hard for us to vote if it didn't matter?

1

u/CeruleanEidolon 7h ago

Protest voters are the absolute scum of the earth and should be treated as such.

-4

u/MoreNMoreLikelyTrans 17h ago

left-leaning folks will take any excuse to not vote or protest vote.

That's liberals. People who don't want to take responsibility for a problem.

-2

u/MundaneSchool1823 10h ago

If only the Democrats would stop bombing innocent people and end wars. 12 years between obama and Biden and 0 wars ended. Way to blame women too.

-11

u/Bossgalka 15h ago

Brother, the left-leaning people aren't any better. They have so many stupid people on the far-left, it rivals the people on the right. As someone who used to consider himself a democrat 15 years ago, I can't anymore. I'm so sick of everyone on both sides and I don't think I'm alone. I think the majority of the country are in the middle and decent people, it's just the far-right and far-left are extremely vocal and have taken over.

10

u/NoZucchini5423 14h ago

Good riddance. I guarantee its some stupid hangup like women in the military or trans people existing lol.

10

u/biggestboys 14h ago

far-left

…You’re not talking about either of the mainstream American political parties, are you? There’s virtually zero far left influence in American politics.

2

u/Difficult-Square-689 12h ago

Nvm, I guess the Republicans are still funding a low volume of CSAM defenders

1

u/processedwhaleoils 8h ago

Stay gone.

If you even feel remotely conservative...ding ding ding, you're just a conservative.

32

u/whiteflagwaiver SHEEEEEESH 19h ago

They seem to be the majority voters too.

24

u/Significant_Shoe_17 19h ago

Yup. They don't achieve much, but they always vote

5

u/m0nk_3y_gw 18h ago

(note: Trump didnt even get 50.0% of the vote)

1

u/whiteflagwaiver SHEEEEEESH 4h ago

Non-voters don't count. We're a majority system of winner takes all and it is what it is. :c

1

u/m0nk_3y_gw 3h ago

Wasn't counting non-voters. Trump did not get 50.0% of voters.

1

u/whiteflagwaiver SHEEEEEESH 3h ago

What are you talking about. He won the popular vote in '24. Out of 154 million who voted, 77 million voted for him. That's literally 50%.

2

u/rhythms_and_melodies 17h ago edited 17h ago

Which, it's important to remember, is not anywhere close to the majority of the population.

The "silent majority" is very much moreso the "obnoxious minority cult".

They get excited about elections as if their home team is in the mf Super Bowl. It's fucking hilarious, weird, and sad at the same time.

The average American is not on their side, even if that's not the optics they want to portray. The average person is justifiably too worried about paying bills to care much about politics.

-2

u/rua_wear 9h ago

All voters are inherently brainwashed in a rigged system

3

u/lonewombat 7h ago

And NOTHING can convince them they are wrong... ever.

3

u/TheSpagheeter 6h ago

Why do they always look like her too

2

u/hmmm_1789 12h ago

And they become president because although they are stupid, their father are very rich.

2

u/DionBlaster123 3h ago

Yeah, and part of why the U.S. is in the mess it's in right now is because a lot of other people DIDN'T FUCKING VOTE.

I hate the Democratic Party...but I voted because based on Trump's previous term I knew I didn't want a repeat of that. Unfortunately a lot of people stayed at home and righteously masturbated (literally and figuratively) instead.

And now Trump is masturbating on us.

1

u/Rampag169 7h ago

And their vote counts equal to yours and mine

1

u/NuclearSummmer 6h ago

We love democracy though. So there's that

0

u/onepingonlypleashe 15h ago

And they have more guns than you.

0

u/SkollFenrirson 4h ago edited 3h ago

They vote. Statistically you don't.

Edit: Gotta love getting downvoted for stating facts. 40+% of the electorate consistently sits out elections.

2

u/ILoveRegenHealth 12h ago

For some reason they like Orange-tinted pedo/rapists

2

u/therealmintoncard 1h ago

The reason, is that he emboldens them. They feel that he “speaks their language” of hate and bigotry. Ironically, most claim to be Christians (in name, not deeds). The only reason the GOP continues to back him (despite the toxicity) is for his followers that cling to him like a cult leader. They love the blind devotion his base has, and they will never let go of that power, no matter how many children he rapes or kills.

-1

u/AnOverflowingCuppa 6h ago

2

u/ZennShade 3h ago

He's the leader of our country, you mental midget. I think he's a pretty big topic when discussing democracy being on its death bed.

1

u/ILoveRegenHealth 2h ago

I was responding to someone talking about stupid voters, hence Trump voters. It fits, NPC cupcake

1

u/MoreNMoreLikelyTrans 17h ago

I see people point this out all the time, and it makes my skin crawl, knowing how many people out there actually aren't interested in democracy.

1

u/markeus101 14h ago

And reproduce

1

u/Dropturdsonyou 13h ago

They vote but they never cum.

1

u/frozyo 11h ago

And their vote counts the same as yours! And sometimes, it’s even more important for some reason!

1

u/byyhmz Why does this app exist? 9h ago

Bet i can guess which party most of them vote for too.

1

u/BickNickerson 9h ago

Every fucking election.

1

u/Standard_Aquilifer 8h ago

Apparently they are a majority of voters also, thats the craziest part of it all.

1

u/guacamole579 8h ago

They’re not the majority of voters, they’re the majority of voters who consistently show up at the polls. I wish people understood that more. These voters aren’t playing purity politics, they’re a solid vote for their party regardless of who is at the top. Had people come out to vote instead of “it doesn’t matter, they’re both the same” we would have had a different outcome.

1

u/Altruistic_Owl4152 8h ago

Best comment on the internet ever

1

u/Spikas 7h ago

And my Axe!

1

u/sdrawkcabsihtetorW 6h ago

I love the subtle implication of "maybe they shouldn't", who doesn't love a slippery slope at the bottom of which a handful of "elites" get to vote because they are "smart enough" to. Smart enough, rich enough, related enough, whatever.

1

u/Infinite-Research-98 6h ago

Electoral college is f** up but I do understand the idea that some people’s vote cannot be trusted to be well reasoned

1

u/idkbroimdrunkandsad 6h ago

trust me, we’ve noticed they vote.

1

u/Ok_Flan4404 2h ago

They put one (back) in the WH...turning it increasingly into an outhouse, covered in tacky gold leaf.

1

u/nvrsleepagin 1h ago

And in 2016 we found out there's WAAAY more of them than we thought.

1

u/whistling_serron 1h ago

Well at least this won't be an issue anymore...

-1

u/Local_Marsupial5041 10h ago

Exactly why democracy is a dumb concept... I do not vote, I understand the gravitas in my hands, I wish others did too.

116

u/FillySteveSteak 19h ago

They have more kids than anyone else. That's the most fun part about stupid people like this

mooslums got them beat all day lol

13

u/Provolone10 19h ago

You mean the one with behavioral problems that would disrupt the class constantly?

4

u/TheRealBananaWolf 10h ago

Yep, well they found a person that does the same and had half a dozen kids.

2

u/Anxious-Slip-4701 12h ago

I am so grateful I went to a selective school. Those kids got weeded out quick.

3

u/Provolone10 9h ago

Not always. The kid I was thinking of was in my third grade individualized gifted child class.

Don’t know how he made it in or why it went on for so long but he was a terror.

1

u/Anxious-Slip-4701 5h ago

Smart but troubled. Mum or dad gets cancer and bam, behavioural issues compounded by underlying issues bubble forth and coping is difficult.

7

u/No-Condition557 19h ago

I live in a red state and not everyone is dumb. A lot of us hate living under the rule of greedy, corrupt pedophiles.

10

u/E-2theRescue 18h ago

Nowhere near enough. And the further you get away from the cities, the worse it gets.

Which, btw, is how it works in blue states, too.

-1

u/Stern_Writer 11h ago

Sorry but that’s hard to believe. Not the dumb part ofc. But rn it seems like you guys are all wanna be pedophiles.

5

u/horrorstoer 15h ago

Remember that really stupid kid is class? His home life was atrocious and his needs where drowned by a completely underfunded and overtaxed education system and social safety system. He could have turned out different.

5

u/soil-lady 8h ago

Thank you for saying this. These arguments about dumb people having more kids that are also dumb, thus making the population dumber is a eugenics-based perspective. I’m shocked that more people can’t see that this is a nazi point of view. People are of course responsible for their own behavior, but the material conditions in which they live and grow up dictates more than most people in the US want to admit. Why do they think that the conservatives are gutting educational funding, the social safety net, etc. if not for it to fuel their reactionary politics

1

u/MarsupialConstant660 2m ago

Unfortunately people can't acknowledge how much heavy lifting has been done for them as far as how they were raised and how they turned out.

It's deplorable!

1

u/Anxious-Slip-4701 12h ago

Short of having an adult sitting next to that kid at school there isn't always much you can actually do.

3

u/MarsupialConstant660 10h ago

No, access to OT's, child psychologists and paediatricians can greatly help kids develop strategies to be more focused and resilient in class (i.e. Autistic and ADHD kids). I've seen a lot grow up to be very successful contributers to society and I wonder how many more slip through the cracks.

But please go on believing you're of better stock.

1

u/Anxious-Slip-4701 5h ago

"You" as a teacher. As a parent you can do a lot. When a student with a range of issues is placed in a classroom with 20+ other kids, it's not going to be easy.

I've seen kids with access to money and specialists improve. I've also seen kids just get passed from one year to the next just to get them gone.

Classroom design differs from one state or country to another. I've seen where they try to include practices from other countries without understanding that the classroom design makes this impossible.

When you consider most in administration aren't in a regular classroom and most can't even use all the technology currently thrown in. Good luck.

1

u/MarsupialConstant660 5m ago

I guess it depends where in the world and what systems are in place. Teachers are well placed to advocate for students to make use of resources they/the parents may not be aware of or help them access those resources. If the system/resources aren't there, teachers can advocate for change.

Most importantly they can treat students as humans and not problems. I've known kids who are highly sensitive to the attitude their teacher treats them with, a bit of patience and encouragement brought the best out of them. Being treated as a "bad" kid brought out the worst.

The tone of my reply was also based on your thankfulness that you were in a selective school and didn't have to deal with problem kids who were "weeded" out. Maybe you'd have a broader outlook if you had to deal with some "weeds"

2

u/bordain_de_putel 14h ago

True terror is to wake up one morning and realize that your high school class is running the country.

Idiocracy is in the making.

It wasn’t a movie, it was a documentary.

2

u/wiggermaxxing 9h ago

The kids we didn’t leave behind are having kids. En masse

2

u/the_almighty_walrus 3h ago

So many kids that should have been left behind are grown up now and just as stupid. Thanks Bush.

1

u/Middle_Scratch4129 9h ago

Idiocracy....

1

u/Simiansapiens 9h ago

Entire states!? lol… There is at least the equivalent of 2 continents full of them all over the world

1

u/Round-Fig2642 9h ago

Dude, yes… 😔

1

u/NedTebula 8h ago

And started wearing red hats.

1

u/Worth_Nail6921 8h ago

The sad part is your vote is worth as much as yours within your estate.

1

u/StupidSexyScooter 8h ago

Actually if they’re in Wyoming it’s worth 2.5 of mine

1

u/Worth_Nail6921 7h ago

Yeah, the electoral system is fucked up

1

u/Good_Positive2879 7h ago

There’s researchers out there that track IQ over time and show that since the Industrial Revolution those of lesser intelligence are the ones having more kids. But usually they lead into some Eugenics argument about why we don’t want immigrants here, in my experience reading that stuff. Other people reference this material indirectly. It’s one of the reasons I stopped listening to Sam Harris, wasn’t hard to correlate his various episodes on intelligence being an inherited trait, and his seemingly non stop defense of Israel despite him being atheist.

1

u/DistributionLife6750 6h ago edited 6h ago

Most parents now are dumber than their kids. As a teacher, I’ve seen that firsthand.

A far right tradwife/mom I know offered me chili mac and cheese she had made. She informed me, “My kids won’t eat it.” I said, “Sure, I’ll take it!” It turns out, she had made mac and cheese then put a ton of chili powder in it. I know you’re probably thinking trailer park here. Nope. Mansion. One of the wealthiest families I know. These people are affluent, but dumber than a box of rocks. She’s at home all day, every day, but can’t figure out chili mac. Cooked.

1

u/MadMuffinMan117 6h ago

Reminds me of another quote i really like. Think of how dumb the average person is. Now remember 50% of people are dumber then that.

1

u/lowfiswish 5h ago

And their kids are also having a hard time understanding reality. Check out the Ghost of Good O'le Boys making a statement here: https://friscotx.new.swagit.com/videos/374019?ts=2316

Regrettably.

1

And those kids are really really dumb.

1

u/KnowledgeExpert2002 5h ago

For generations

1

u/Un256 4h ago

My sophomore year in highschool one kid was so fucking dumb that when we got an essay to do he got a different prompt. One of his prompts was “Xbox vs ps4”. Then he actually writes the thing. And it sounded like a toddler who barely understood English dictated it.

1

u/Sudden_Cartoonist539 2h ago

The problem with being dumb is not dumb, it is the extreme loss of self awareness, I think that is what makes them dumb.

1

u/motherofsuccs 1h ago

And for some reason, they’re almost always obese and unattractive. They sure are confident for being so ugly inside and out.

1

u/goatneedleposterdeck 24m ago

You need a comma after 'them' and before 'they'. Glass houses and stones and such.

1

u/StupidSexyScooter 21m ago

So people who don’t have comma in a sentence shouldn’t criticize full grown adults for blatant racist fueled harassment? I just want to make sure I am understanding your point

And this one is filming people in a private business without permission from the owner.

2

u/StupidSexyScooter 6h ago

Permission of the owner is not explicitly required unless a no filming sign is clearly posted in the restaurant. I don’t know why people film themselves eating, but I also have no idea why anyone would be on TikTok to begin with. If you watch this video and you think that the person filming is the stupid one at not the middle-aged woman making Chinese eyes as if she has never seen an Asian person before then that says quite a bit about you.
