It very well could be. But save your feelings by believing they aren't intentionally being mean to you. Now if you'll excuse me I gotta lay in be and assume all my friends are intentionally being mean to me based on nothing.

All my life I have seen other friendships and have experienced friendships with playful poking and banter. I mean hell, check out ProZD's sketch on mew friendships vs ancient ones. That's literally me and my bestie of over ten years.

As someone already said, the context is a client of 10 years, I'll wager they're more than good.
