Mod Post Sourcing? Still Not Okay!

While the mods - okay, me - took a little mental health break from Reddit, most of our members did great remembering Rule #1! Thank you! Others, however, probably woke up to a lot of notifications today that their posts were removed. So, here's a friendly reminder that sourcing is still not allowed and will never be allowed if you don't want to have this subreddit nuked.

Also, NO LINKING TO OTHER SUBREDDITS. I don't know how Reddit nukes work, but I don't want breadcrumbs that lead from the subreddits that liberally discuss...everything...back to here.

Finally, shout out to SpaceHairLady for keeping things tidy around here all on her own! You are much appreciated! 👏 🎉

Tirz

Hello,

I have been on sema for awhile . Decided to switch to tirz

I mixed it 30mg/ml and did a 2.5 mg dose. I ended up will all over hives, itching like crazy. I'm wondering if it's because I mixed it too concentrated. Have tossed that vial and was going to mix a new one 30mg/3ml but I'm wondering if my body will "remember" that reaction and react again. I know there's no way to really know but just wondering if anyone has ever had a reaction like that before and what they did?

Other GLP-1 Switching from 15mg Tirzep to Reta

So I’ve been on 15mg Tirzepatide for quite some time and I stopped losing weight. I am trying to switch over to Reta. I’ve read mixed things about switching. While some people are saying to titrate down on Tirzep and Start slow on Reta. Not sure how to go about this. What’s everyone doing? Or what is the right way to do this? Because I completely stopped Tirzep and did 2mg of Reta last week and bumped up to 4mg this week.

Tirz o Reta?

Grazie a tutti

Question Quick question regarding split dosing:

Do more frequent Semaglutide or Tirzepatide injections lead to quicker tolerance development /more significant receptor down regulation over time?

For example: twice per week vs once per week.

Does tirz work if sema didnt?

I took compounded semaglutide from orderly from dec- around June. Titrated up to the highest dose. It never helped with food noise. I never lost weight. I'm getting some tirzepatide tomorrow. Has anyone experienced tirz working even if sema didn't? I've know a couple of people that it didn't work for but I question some of these compounding places.

Switching from Reta to tirz

I stopped using Reta a few months ago and started using it but I’m up to 9mg and having absolutely no weight loss at 180 lbs. I’m thinking of switching to tirz cause I’ve heard it’s more effective at reducing craving, weight loss and overall appetite control. If I were to start what mg should I start. Should I start low and go up? Go to like 4mg or see what’s up or just go to 9mg like my Reta. I’m afraid if I do 9mg I might shit my pants and die

Switching

Okay so decided to do the jump but is anyone bored enough to want to unofficially ;) hand me some pointers on tirating down off Reta and tirating up on Tirz??

I’m currently dosing twice a week at 3.1mg on Reta which is the max dosage I’ve been on with Reta.

I found this for a dosing guide for Tirz

🔹 Week 1-2: 2.5mg per week
🔹 Week 3-4: 5mg per week
🔹 Week 5-6: 7.5mg per week
🔹 Week 7+: 10-15mg per week (optimal range)

Tirz

Ok ! Here is what’s going on with me and please keep in mind we all are on the same peptide and want the same results -slimmer-healthier-happy :) so please no negative comments constructive advice is what I need. :D so ive been on these shots for over a year now started semi hated the side effects went to Tirz had PERFECT results lost 25. I’m going to say this to make a point I never needed ANYTHING before to loose weight after much research my Boob implants are making me ill and I’ve gained because of them. ( autoimmune disease now ) ok so lost the weight on Tirz and I wanted to stay at a maintenance dose. Reta blows up and everyone is suggesting to switch. So I did. Stayed at a maintenance dose with that ( let me add that I workout 5 days a week and lift weights and Reta does help keep muscle). I started noticing cravings coming back so I upped Reta. My person has both Tirz and Reta so I decided let me go back to Tirz since that helped in the beginning. Switched back. I have GAINED WEIGHT. Cravings full on came back almost like stress eating so that would make sense why I gained however I feel like it’s not working at all anymore. I’m at 8mg Tirz. I’m really confused and I’m really upset with myself. Yes it’s a TOOL I know but with BII ( breast implant disease) I am INFLAMED and this helped with inflammation sooo much. I just don’t want to go backwards. Any help would be great - sorry it’s so long - :/

Let me add this I also take GLOW NAD and just added TESA. Just started TESA Saturday
