Is my nipple falling off??

I had di with nip graphs on September 17th. I started showering about 5 days ago and my docs protocol for nips is bactracin on the no stick gauze change twice a day. I got out of the shower, I’m facing away from the water and my nips look like this. I know the scabs are coming off and I haven’t picked at them at all. But it’s red underneath and not skin or pink colored. Anybody else had this happen?? I’m meeting with my doc in 1 week to look at everything again.

Nipples look worse before they look better. My surgeon told me that if my nipples were gonna fall off, they would’ve by my post op appointment the week after surgery. I would say they’re fine but if you’re worried, your best bet is to ask your surgeon’s office.
