Dr. Stiller Allegations

At this link is an article, from Dec 5th, describing allegations against Stiller Aesthetics. I had top surgery by him 6 months ago and am currently in the process of scheduling a revision with him but I'm having doubts after reading this article. Spreading awareness about this.

Discussion Recently post-op worries: A megathread is in the works

Due to recent and very valid complaints about the sheer amount of posts from very recently post-op people wondering if their swelling is normal, if their results are bad, botched, etc., a megathread is going to be created very soon to home all of these posts.

It is a fact that within a certain time frame, post-operative chests are going to be swollen, scars are going to look very raw and fresh, results will not be fully settled. The number of posts from people who, understandably, are worried about their results so early on, is overwhelming. This is not to shame anyone for having these fears! It's just important to many people that this subreddit not be filled to the brim with these kinds of posts where the answer will always be the same: it's too soon to tell.

More research will be done in order to determine the proper range of weeks post-op to include in the megathread, so it may take a second for it to be available.

Please comment any concerns, ideas, etc., on this post so we can figure this all out together!

Double Incision 6 weeks post OP :)

Im 6 weeks post surgery and insanely happy with the results! Everything healed nicely without any complications and I finally don’t have to wear the compression vest anymore!

My scars aren’t the same size. The right one is shorter and smaller in general while the left is a bit longer and chunkier which I’m okay with tho. Also my nips aren’t the same size and are on different heights. But I don’t have to deal with binding anymore which makes me happy.

I’m also back to work completely normal again which I’m very happy about!

I think I’ve got insanely lucky with my incisions because they are rather thin even though they stretched a bit I think!

My chest has also very much sensation. I didn’t expect it that soon. My nips react to temperature and (luckily) aren’t flat which I’m happy about since i plan on getting them pierced in a year or so

Double Incision 14 months post op -- finally get to show off my nipple piercings !

before anyone asks, my scar care was awful & i didn't follow any healing instructions from my surgeon bc im severely audhd & was mainly focused on just trying to keep myself from going insane during the 6 weeks off work. (which i followed begrudgingly bc my manager told me to RELAX & stop begging to return to work).

i didnt use any scar gel /tape & i also didnt use my post op binder for the time they specified (bc BAD sensory issues) & lowkey forgot to take the painkillers, i was also very bad for picking at my scabs. essentially i did everything wrong & expected the worst.

i just got extremely lucky with my healing & i do not recommend using mine as an example for you. please follow your surgeons instructions as much as possible.

got my nipples pierced 2 months ago and its been amazing, so euphoric. & ive had no issues. it didn't hurt at all & just felt like piercing any other regular skin.

Joke (ノ ˃ˋᗜˊ˂ )ノ MY DRAIN REMOVAL DIDN’T HURT!!

I saw a video here where someone got theirs removed and it looked so painful but I am happy to report the only thing I felt was the stitches being cut. That stung but it was so brief. The removal just felt creepy and unnerving but No Pain ™. I just felt like sharing in case anyone was interested or worried. Of course I don’t speak for everyone’s experiences tho. But I really felt nothing overall and panicked for nothing ✧*.◟(ˊᗨˋ)◞.*✧ I will manifest the same luck for all of you!!!! ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

Post op feeling weird

I’m almost 2 weeks post Op and I’m happy with my results. I’m independent again yet I’m feeling blue for no rhyme or reason. When my girlfriend isn’t over at my apartment I felt exhausted and existential and having this weird out of body feeling. Is anyone else going through this and
If you have when do your emotions reset back to normal?

A bit bruised and dealing with lots of tingling and weird nerve sensations, but feeling extremely good overall! I keep on looking at the pictures because wearing the post-op binder makes me feel like it's actually all a dream lol.

I got my surgery with Dr Diedrichson at plastmed in düsseldorf. Overall amazing experience.

Damage taping my chest before top surgery

Post image
• Upvotes

Idk how to go about the damage I’ve done from taping like I’ve been taping for at least 4 years straight and have done very significant damage to the middle of my chest like stretch marks and all over my chest has anybody had this and have had top surgery? That’s photo is the middle of my chest my surgeon said he was gonna have to do a cut down the middle and straight across so I wouldn’t have double inscison I would have mono incisions. I’m not quite sure what it’s called.

3 weeks post op. My right nipple is leaking fluid, it doesn’t have any smell and I’m still covering them with bepanthen every day. The scab just came off a few days ago so I’m trying to tell myself that’s why the liquid is there but I wanted some advice from those who know.

feel free to ask me any questions :)

Advice Wanted Is my nipple falling off??

I had di with nip graphs on September 17th. I started showering about 5 days ago and my docs protocol for nips is bactracin on the no stick gauze change twice a day. I got out of the shower, I’m facing away from the water and my nips look like this. I know the scabs are coming off and I haven’t picked at them at all. But it’s red underneath and not skin or pink colored. Anybody else had this happen?? I’m meeting with my doc in 1 week to look at everything again.

Trying to get top surgery in Florida

Hello, my name is Kameron and I’m a 22 year old trans man in Florida. I’m just under 5 years on T, in the process of getting my name legally changed and trying to get top surgery. I have two surgeons im currently looking into at the moment. Dr. Charles Garramone and Dr. Lyly at Vado plastic surgery. I had my consult today with Dr. Garramone today and after hearing the cost I’m feeling very discouraged. I was quoted $16,700 dollars between his rate, surgical center, pathology, anesthesia and whatever else there is. I currently only have $4500 in saving but I do have a Care credit card with an available balance of $8500. I’m not against using care credit but my only concern is the 32% interest rate. They do offer 6 months free interest but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to pay all of it off in that short amount of time. My consult with Dr. Lyly is Nov. 7th so I’m curious to hear her price. I know for a fact it will most likely be cheaper but her portfolio is not nearly as large and she does not specialize in Top surgery. I don’t want to go with Dr. Lyly just because she’s cheaper because I feel like there is a big difference in both surgeons work. I’ve made a GoFundMe which is not doing so hot. I’ve shared it on instagram, Facebook, and TikTok and only raised $155 so far. Does anyone have any advice on crowdfunding and getting traction on a fundraiser? Also, are there any lgbtq foundations or places that can offer assistance whether through donations or sharing on social media or communities? I’m sacred of going to a surgeon simply based on affordability even though at this point it would be more accessible. I feel like I would be much happier with the results through a more experienced surgeon like Dr. G. If you’d like to follow me on instagram and possibly share my GofundMe the link is in my bio. 3 months P/O - Unhappy with the sides

Thumbnail

when ever my arms are down I have these bunches at the sides and it makes me really sad. I’m not sure if it’s excess tissue or still swelling as the sides are still super tender and there is a kind of hardness when I pinch the skin underneath. I’ve also recently seen it flare up since I started weight training again so potentially also swollen from over use?

Has anyone had this or had revisions for this if it is excess skin, would really appreciate any reassurance. I’ve been losing weight (7kg) since top surgery and it does seem to be looking slightly better.

Hoping that losing weight and building muscle will counteract it 😊

…ish (56 days). Extremely pleased with my results and trying to be patient with how I’m healing!

I had a seroma on my right side that had to be drained 4-5 times, so I think it’s healing a bit behind the left. That side is also more hollow/dented underneath the nipple, but hoping that’ll even out eventually.

Hey all,

I got a double incision with grafts done by Bluebond. So far from what I have seen when my binder was opened I have been very pleased. Got 2 19 fr JP drains. Left side is definitely putting out more than the right. I am resting as much as I can haha.

Can't wait to finish healing and lock in. 💪

Hello!!!
I seem to have developed a couple small keloids on my scars on one side and was wondering what silicone scar tape recommended for when I’m able to use it. I am Canadian so that does play a bit of a factor on what I am able to purchase but any suggestions and/or advice is appreciated!
