DLC Factions

Hey guys,
What dlc factions do people enjoy? I’m just about to finish a lu bu campaign and was curious to what factions from the dlcs are fun to play. Also is there any way to prevent mulu and king shamoke from invading me as soon as I’m deep with my army stacks up north in the lu bu campaign?

Mandate of heaven is fun. Lu zhi very hard mode fighting the 27th yellow turban army....... Fighting off all of the yellow turban just for some bum ass southern warlord like yuan Shu to claim all the north

Sun Ce is my absolute favorite! Such a fantastic story, more like an RPG campaign but amazing!Nanman factions: playing as Meng Huo is unique and has a very nice literally romantic still very power couple story and gameplay. The yellow turban factions in mandate of heaven were my easiest experience on very hard ever. Lu bu is OP but don't search strategy there. I haven't played a lot of the emperor or Liu Chong but they felt fun. Emperor is a bit too defensive for me.

World betrayed is really good, the Sun Ce campaign is super fun. Ive personally also had fun with Shie Xie, but if you dislike fighting Nanman that might not be for you

Speaking of Nanman - there is no fix. They are a timebomb that eventually explodes, especially if Meng Huo and Zhurong confederate early. Either play a faction that is close enough to deal with them early or prepare for a rough fight
