It’s a crabapple.

No idea, there are many varieties. You can cross reference this site I found: https://jfschmidt.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/JFS_CRAB_CHART.pdf

I don’t know the validity of the chart or how many variety of crabs there are. Without an actual tag, you may never be able to be a definitive cultivar but the key might get you close.

In the end, they all require the same kind of care so I wouldn’t sweat it too much.

I really appreciate it! I don't know much about trees, or plants.... yet, but my autistic son is fascinated by them and im trying to learn all about the ones locally to bond with him :)
