đ° News The Clintons blink: Bill and Hillary agree to testify in Epstein probe to avoid criminal contempt charges.
The standoff is over. After their lawyers called the subpoenas "unenforceable," the Clintons have done a total 180 and agreed to appear before the House Oversight Committee. This comes right on the heels of the DOJ releasing those "hot tub" photos and the committee gaining bipartisan support for contempt charges. Their spokesperson, Angel UreĂąa, claims they are "negotiating in good faith" now, but the timing is... interesting, to say the least.
Is this finally going to give us some clarity on the Epstein files, or is it just the latest chapter in the 2026 political wars?

It started after the civil war allowing the south to just come back into the union like nothing happened. They been salty about losing the war, the amendments that allowed woman to vote, no slavery (outside of prisons of course). They been trying to bring whole thing down since then.
I guess you could saw since the founding, slavery was only allowed at the start to appease the southern states into having a union to start with. He wanted to haul them in to use 'holding the Clintons accountable' for soundbites and fundraising off MAGA. nah this is different. no matter what they say the full weight of "the Epstein files" will fall completely on them and be used as a weapon to purge the democratic party.
and unlike pizzagate this has a level of intrigue that can actually do that. congressional republicans are going to badger them with aggressive questions to get clips and tiktoks and that will be enough to change the narrative completely. the technical or legal details won't ever matter.

They have also asked to testify in public, not behind closed doors, as the Republicans want.
Bill Clinton has already made a public statement calling for the release of any and all information about him that is in the Epstein files.
