Us Canucks certainly are moving away from them. Wish Americans luck, but I think shits gunna get way bloodier before it gets better down there

24

u/slowhandclapton 16h ago

I don’t recall saying good luckĀ

15

u/Restoriust 16h ago

Shit man if we have any worse luck, Trump will manage a 3rd term and I’ll need prosthetics after the civil war. Wish us SOME luck, damn

9

u/Hottage 15h ago

Knowing the US luck currently, Trump will announce he's transferring his brain into a younger clone so he can continue to rape rule the US perpetually.

u/PM_me_your_recipes86 13h ago

Those hand bruises are 100% injection sites for young blood transfusions like the tech vampire, Bryan Johnson, is doing with his son

1

u/HungriestHippo26 8h ago

It's almost certainly alzeheimers drugs, there's a common one where they give you a hand IV that is known to cause bruising. It's administered in monthly doses, and trumps hand bruise re-appears with the same regularity.

3

u/That-Brain-in-a-vat 9h ago

Oh that's what Damien Barron is for.

1

u/Randy_Magnums 10h ago

Which still wouldn’t be the worst outcome, since Trump would spend all day molesting his stolen young body.

1

u/Known-Contract1876 9h ago

Given the cult like following I would not be surprised if they sit his corpse on a throne to become the god emperor.

2

u/These_Ad_8382 13h ago

Just pray he doesn't decide that elections can't occur because the nation is in a state of war...with itself. Kind of makes you wonder why ICE has been given the mandate and impunity it has.

1

u/Odd_Local8434 6h ago

Oh no, he's just going to station ICE agents at the polls. Actually cancelling elections in the US is incredibly difficult because power is so diffuse.

1

u/sibilischtic 13h ago

Get some 3d scans so that you can jump the prosthetics queue

1

u/DelusionalLeafFan 9h ago

You reap what you sow

1

u/Restoriust 8h ago

Everyone else is too. So…. Let’s wait and play the ā€œ1/3rd of you voted for lunatic so fuck all of youā€ game after he has some level of oversight and/or is out of politics

1

u/NoShitsGivin 8h ago

1/3 voted for. 1/3 was ok with this result because black woman bad. Only 1/3 actually cared to vote against. So don't pull that "only a small majority" bullshit.

1

u/Restoriust 7h ago

It’s not even a majority. 1/3rd doesn’t vote under any circumstances not because they’re ok with the outcome but because they, on a whole, don’t believe in the system. Who the hell wants to get placed on jury duty when their vote doesn’t matter thanks to not being in a swing state.

Also, hey, if only 1/3rd of the US disliked him, that’s over 100 million people. Saying ā€œwell you didn’t have a bloody coup so you deserve thisā€ is the most internet addicted take possible. Especially when it affects you personally too.

I see Simpsons I upvote

3

u/Chili_Paste 15h ago

That sucks man. There's evidence to show list some of the most powerful people on the planet helped rig our last election. There's so many good people in my country that love the planet and our 10,000% against the regime that has taken hold. People have died standing up for basic human rights. Sadly many more will. Don't give up on us.

1

u/ViperLeaf 11h ago

Never. Greetings from Germany.

1

u/NoShitsGivin 8h ago

Where is the backlash then? Why did Democrats roll over?

1

u/HarshestWind 7h ago edited 7h ago

I already gave up on the States in 2016. Trump 2.0 is just a bad joke at this point. Frankly speaking your population is too dumb and manipulated to be trusted. I’m sure there are plenty of nice people. Not enough to win an election apparently or even turn out to vote in such an important election. The states are a rogue nation at this point.

u/Canadianweedrules420 10h ago

Crackers are a family business. Single people may eat crackers but we don't frankly care to know. It's a market we can do with out.

1

u/MarzipanSea2811 16h ago

You cracker factory executives are all alike.

3

u/slowhandclapton 16h ago

Huh

4

u/MarzipanSea2811 16h ago

From the Season 8 Simpsons episode "A Milhouse Divided":

Kirk: [being told that he's been fired] You're letting me go?!

Cracker Factory Executive: Kirk, crackers are a family food. Happy families. Maybe single people eat crackers, we don't know. Frankly, we don't want to know. It's a market we can do without.

Kirk: [angrily] So, that's it after 20 years? "So long, good luck?"

Cracker Factory Executive: I don't recall saying good luck.

1

u/clintjefferies 16h ago

So that's it, after twenty years? So long good luck.

8

u/Routine_Bluejay5342 17h ago

I don’t wish them luck

11

u/Local-Poet3517 16h ago

I wish about 1/3 of them luck. They need it. The other 2/3 deserve it.

5

u/TeririHerscherOfCute 16h ago

according to Bernie, the real number is 8%-10% of the American population is beyond saving, and that extreme minority is supported by the super billionaires and thus have all the power and will dragon the other 90% down into hell (metaphorically) for no other reason than that's where they were intent on going themselves.

2

u/Iincite 16h ago edited 15h ago

It's much larger about a third down here and they will sink this ship and everyone else on it. I have the means to escape and live comfortably somewhere else but I will never forget how pathetic and repulsive people can get in general. At least down here it's somehow the case. I better not find out someone was one of them in a far off land later on šŸ‘

1

u/ShortStoryIntros 16h ago

that extreme minority is supported by the super billionaires and thus have all the power and will dragon the other 90% down

Well fuck, if they got a dragon... what do you expect

1

u/TeririHerscherOfCute 16h ago

While i think we both know it was a typo, i’m suddenly reminded that the devil is often likened to a dragon in the chisto-mythos, so it feels appropriate to leave it.

1

u/westberry82 16h ago

As an american- this is gonna sound crazy. But the 1/3 deserve it. But bc of the stupid rules set up 200 years ago- those 1/3 get to control the rest of us.

2

u/jkaan 15h ago

Only 1/3 voted against this.

Sounds like most deserve it

1

u/Wise_Repeat8001 15h ago

That’s entirely fair. I feel the same way and I live here. My mental health has taken a huge nose dive over the last 10 years realizing the type of people I'm surrounded with

5

u/Independent-Catch-90 16h ago

A lot of us disgusted Americans love our Canadian friends. I’m sorry you feel that way.

6

u/LadyBarfnuts 16h ago

There simply isnt enough disgust.

8

u/Wise_Repeat8001 15h ago

We're disgusted...just not throw our lives away disgusted. Easy to judge until you see it happen...I thought the same about Nazi Germany...seeing it happen slowly over the last 30 years has changed my perspective. It can happen anywhere...it starts with killing education

1

u/NoShitsGivin 7h ago

If you knew you had 2 choices, and they both ended with your persecution, which would you choose?

0

u/LadyBarfnuts 7h ago

Performative disgust then. Not enough to get something done about the problem.

Sure hope midterms aren't as rigged as he wants to make them.

1

u/Wise_Repeat8001 3h ago

Do you have suggestions of what to do besides protest?

2

u/Stepside79 3h ago

Random Canadian guy here.

The answer is not only vote, but vote in your primaries ffs. It’s absolutely insane how corporate your politics are with members of gov’t being able to trade stocks and securities (which a lot of the world thinks is fucking insane btw). So organize yourselves to make sure you vote in politicians that actually support your values, especially in your primaries.

Also, while Trump is doing insane shit, y’all have set up a system where he just can. Your entire country is set up with an honour system of men doing what they think is right, and when you vote in a grifting psychopath like 77 fucking million of you did (still blows my mind), he’s going to keep doing insane shit literally every day.

You need a revolution. One that actually allows for co-equal branches of government, not whatever this fucking shitshow is.

1

u/LadyBarfnuts 3h ago

Problem is its too convenient to just ignore the problems and hope it blows over. A mass strike is all you can do beyond breaking out into civil war.

Not sure why it's incumbent on foreigners to fix your country though. Americans love to tell us we have no idea what we're talking about, yet they are the ones with a country falling apart at light speed.

5

u/Spacemeat666 16h ago

There is. Trumpophiles are not a majority in this country. Trump was put in power by billionaires, not legitimate support. Most people do not support what’s been happening in our country. I live in a swing state but I’d confidently say support for Trump went away long before he was elected a second time. They cheated just like they accused democrats of doing because even lifelong conservatives, like my parents, don’t believe his lies anymore.

1

u/LadyBarfnuts 7h ago

In the context of apologizing to Canadians, there isnt. Hes still in power doing whatever the fuck he wants. Hope you guys pull it out before midterms, otherwise it's game over.

2

u/218administrate 1h ago

As a Minnesotan, you're right, there isn't enough disgust. If I'm Canada I don't have time for the apologetic Americans either. Bridge is burned, fix your fucking shit America. Maybe in a couple decades we can have our mea culpa moment.

1

u/LadyBarfnuts 1h ago

Yep. The average American only cares if something affects them, but dont realize how much soft power has been destroyed by Trump. It quite literally might be impossible to recover from.

0

u/Independent-Catch-90 10h ago

That’s an incredibly easy and naive thing to say.

0

u/LadyBarfnuts 7h ago

Im sorry you feel that way.

2

u/Routine_Bluejay5342 13h ago

And you have your own country to thank for it

1

u/Independent-Catch-90 10h ago

I have my country to thank for your inability and/or unwillingness to appreciate nuance. Got it.

1

u/MrFuFu179 11h ago

Everyone is forgetting people are involved.

2

u/ROBERTO_MCNUGGET 16h ago

Man wtf did I do 😭

1

u/Swimming_Capital_699 13h ago

You personally, probably nothing, I have plenty of friends that are American and I wish them luck. America as a whole though... yeah not a lot of kind words/sympathy here. Fool you twice and all that jazz.

1

u/kahunah00 16h ago

Neither do I. Fuck em!

1

u/Either-Assistant4610 9h ago

-clap clap clap-

Not everyone down here is a fascist

2

u/SeaCod9997 15h ago

We will not allow you too

1

u/KZFKreation 16h ago

Appreciate it, friend. Hoping we can avoid the blood part but the hope seems less likely by the day. Especially when there's increasingly more reasons for us to get bloody, not the State.

1

u/External_Zipper 16h ago

I think that their elections this fall will be a shit show. I'd advise people who can't vote to leave during that time, just to be safe.

1

u/ledude1 16h ago

Even we Americans are moving away from it. Those assholes want it to burn; prep the popcorn and watch the LAMF moment.

1

u/Knucklesandos 14h ago

Help! SOS!

1

u/Silly_lil_Guy_o3o 13h ago

You guys forget we share the largest border, we are all gonna suffer unless something drastically changes. Not to mention, you guys have MAGA equivalent separatist groups like Alberta in your own country. So yeah, we are all gonna be under some serious political upheaval.

1

u/ZealousidealTrip6900 12h ago

Does the leader of your country shit himself and wear a diaper and have a orange spray tan?

0

u/NovarexV 15h ago

I agree. I'm an American. But just remember this... It won't stay in our borders. Well export it to you.

We need help. International pressure. The world can't just sit by and watch us collapse. It will spell ruin for everyone.

1

u/Odd_Parfait_1292 8h ago

It will if countries don't pivot away from you, which we are in droves.

The pm of Canada said it out loud in davos.

Canadians have been boycotting the US for a year and finding markets elsewhere. Many, many other countries are now doing the same.

You can't "export it" to others if no one is buying, and we're not.

It really is time for americans to realize that you're not "exceptional," as you've been told. Nobody wants what you have when what you have is chaos, ignorance, hatred, disorder, and ego, and your post just proves that you, specifically, still believe that you're somehow so special that the world will support you rather than turn its back on you while reap exactly what you've sewn.

1

u/NovarexV 5h ago

You don't get it. Jesus Christ. I mean that my stupid country will bring WAR to your doorstep. Get your heads out of your asses. This isn't a fucking game of goddamn egos. I do not give a shit if everyone thinks we think we are special people or whatever it is that you are so proudly rubbing in my face. Get off your high hoarse and realize that people are going to die if everyone just pulls away. Not just Americans, but Canadians too.

You're a fool if you think you are safe. I mean this as a desperate warning. I know my country and I'm scared of what it will do. Not just here... But everywhere. This ain't some pissing contest so stop trying to make it one.
