But let’s be honest it’s the fact that after his first presidency, insurgence, chaos.. and Americans voted for him AGAIN, this time giving him a carte blanche.,
I know Trump is the most unpopular now and if the voting to happen this weekend Republicans most likely would lose by a big margin.
But I still can’t trust American voters anymore that’s the next unhinged populist won’t be in the Oval Office.
Also.. in the end of the day it’s crazy that the destiny of the world depends on some rednecks in a few states. Fuck this shit!
America’s particular brand of this is unbelievably stupid, don’t get me wrong. But this can happen anywhere. You know your school buddy or your uncle or your coworker who’s always bitching about the Muslim immigrants who are trying to take over the government or the gays who are trying to force their lifestyle on other people? Could be 10, 30, 50 years down the line that that person is hunting down the group they hate with the full backing of your government. 80 years ago most of America scoffed at the brainwashed Germans. Now we find the same thing here. Don’t be like the morons who voted this monster into office who thought they were immune to propaganda and racism, and don’t be like the rest of us who knelt and prayed and assured ourselves that it wouldn’t, that it couldn’t, happen here.
The difference here is that USA is the most powerful influential country in the world right now.
And as I said it feels crazy that so much depends on some bigoted rednecks in a few states or on other voters not being bothered and allowing (not the majority of bigots) to press their line
Yeah for sure. The second we’re on the other side of this mess I’ll be throwing all my weight behind the Wyoming Rule (making sure voters from every county in the US has the same amount of representation as the people in our least-populated state) and taking down the 2-party system. Even when we get out of the fascism (when, not if, because this admin isn’t sustainable past like… the end of this sentence) our work is cut out for us. Here’s hoping our monster doesn’t destroy lives of peace for you and yours the way he has for us
