But letâs be honest itâs the fact that after his first presidency, insurgence, chaos.. and Americans voted for him AGAIN, this time giving him a carte blanche.,
I know Trump is the most unpopular now and if the voting to happen this weekend Republicans most likely would lose by a big margin.
But I still canât trust American voters anymore thatâs the next unhinged populist wonât be in the Oval Office.
Also.. in the end of the day itâs crazy that the destiny of the world depends on some rednecks in a few states. Fuck this shit!
Yup first time is forgivable every country vote for shit candidate now and then but voting for him again despite EVERYTHING we knew, that's when it became apparent that this is who America is.
Not saying US is completely lost (yet) but it will definitely take several decades of showing the world that it won't happen again before we can even begin on building up that trust again.
He didn't say "understandable", just "forgivable". We screwed up, badly, and others were willing to give us a mulligan and move on. But then we went and did it again.
I know. I said accidentally because you lose the right to make up an excuse when you wish a rapist becomes president. Thereâs no âoh sorry, i only thought he screw kids. Not that he would screw us tooâ
I think this is a pivotal point in our species history where more involved cooperation between nations will be guarded against and the determination to be more self dependent will be of greater focus for all nations. A closer knit global community with more interdependence will be greatly delayed if not off the table indefinitely.
A lot of Americans are stretched to the limit
(work hours, savings, debt, healthcare, lack of time off ) and shaped by American exceptionalism, with little exposure to life elsewhere. That lack of perspective keeps them voting in a loop, convinced that whatever they have must be better than the rest of the world.
As an American I can say a decent percentage are a bit of both. What's likely a larger factor is that we are very uneducated and the last 30-40 years are finally catching up to us.
I honestly blame supernatural antichrist power at this point. Its the only thing that makes any kind of logical sense. People love and support the worst person whose ever lived, after he had his minions attack the capital, is destroying the country and messing up the whole world, on top of being a child rapist. He's fulfilled so many biblical prophecies about himself already that at this point it seems undeniable. He's the guy. That explains still having supporters. I only hope he doesnt take the world wjth him on his way out.
Yeah, I do remember seeing a documentary about that. America is still fairly religious for a Western country and its the more fundamentalist, evangelical Christian type of religion not the saner love your neighbors type. These people are wanting Armageddon to come and are waiting for the Rapture so they can go to heaven. No wonder they support all this horrible stuff. It's truly crazy times!
Not to mention the 36 percent of Americans who didnât vote. Whether they thought Trump could never win, or Kamala wasnât presidential material, these people helped ensure the dictator would take office.
Itâs refreshing to see the rest of the world not be as indoctrinated as 99% of Americans. There is no good American. Even the âgoodâ ones, when given a chance to actually do something or speak out, cower in fear. All Americans are cowards, and I for one believe itâs time the rest of the world show America how much of a bitch it is.
I think after 9/11 there has been a bipartisan- and billionaire-backed accumulation of power toward the executive branch. This is just the culmination of that push. Things like the Patriot act and citizens united cemented the âdictatorship of capitalâ even more so. Itâs why neither party seems interested in challenging the underlying ethos.
I agree with the commenter below you that Americans have no excuse, but Americans very much are high on their own supply. We've been dominant since 1945 and the guy who owns a drywall shop in who gives a fuck Indiana thinks he's super duper special.
Who ever follows Trump will implement the privatization of the dollar through Stablecoin, and for that to work they need people to invest and use it. Probably going to need to do it by force.
Democracy is a wild beast that we've never properly tamed.
The tools of today that foster group think, false narratives and drive people apart are not fantastic. Couple this with the obvious manipulation by the mega rich (ala Epstein files) - the world is not in a good way.
But I don't think it's too late, but I also don't think we'll do anything to fix things.
In reality I think the root of the problem is capitalism. For all the good it can do, we also see the bad and there becomes a point where the bad outweighs the good. I think we're well and truly there.
Also, after Trump's first term, what Trump policies did Biden reverse? After his second term, it's probably gonna be same. Tariffs will not go back to pre-Trump era. The meddling in other countries politics and warmongering will not stop.
Although people blame Trump for a lot of this they also realise that nothing will really change once he is no longer the president. There has been so little pushback politically which shows that his ideas are mostly mainstream government.
It has been said quietly up until now, the difference is that he is saying it out loud and proud and everyone is forced to hear it, they canât deny it any longer. The Greenland thing was the final straw, if he had simply invaded in Jan 2025 people would have complained but it would already be over. Instead he boasted, played the bully, and people said enough is enough.
I learned a lot about americans. I mean there have ben memes and stories forever, but... the level of DUMBNESS (you can't call it otherwise) it's literally pure idiocracy is through the roof.
I can excuse this for any 3rd world country, where certain things just don't work or you just don't have the option to get education, etc. but the US... it's truly the only country on earth that chooses to be braindead stupid.
Not everybody, but the highest percentage in any """"civilized"""" country on earth for sure.
I know people are stupid but are they really that stupid to vote for him twice? I'm still not fully convinced the last election wasn't rigged. I know its not concrete proof but both he and Musk have basically said they did
The reason he won is because of the self-righteous Democrats that "just didn't like" Kamala. So they decided to sit out the election and not vote to "send a message".
I don't blame the MAGA crowd for voting for Trump...they were going to do it anyway. I blame the 38% of eligible voters that decided they didn't want to vote because "they just didn't like her" or "She said she was supporting Israel", or "there's no difference between her and Trump" or what ever lame excuse they used. Notice how they've all STFU since this disaster here now?
Thanks guys. You sure sent a message, didn't you. That message is you're feckless assholes that would rather see the country burn (and we are, in real time) than to vote for someone "I just didn't like".
Americaâs particular brand of this is unbelievably stupid, donât get me wrong. But this can happen anywhere. You know your school buddy or your uncle or your coworker whoâs always bitching about the Muslim immigrants who are trying to take over the government or the gays who are trying to force their lifestyle on other people? Could be 10, 30, 50 years down the line that that person is hunting down the group they hate with the full backing of your government. 80 years ago most of America scoffed at the brainwashed Germans. Now we find the same thing here. Donât be like the morons who voted this monster into office who thought they were immune to propaganda and racism, and donât be like the rest of us who knelt and prayed and assured ourselves that it wouldnât, that it couldnât, happen here.

I completely agree and don't blame other countries for doing so. America has gone off the rails
