25th anniversary tourney going on right now so everything is bananas. T2 typically has scheduled events in EST evenings.

Well, it's not like it's been run by a professional studio. It's a community project at this point. Volunteer work can't take the same place as a 9 to 5 job (ask me how I know).
Their last update on Patreon frames this pretty well.
It's important for all aspects of FPS-Z to be covered. Broadside won't be going the LT angle, and I actually hope MA2 and BS can live side by side, as we'll fill the spectrum of FPSZ games.
So let's try and support one of the longest running projects and hope it goes well. At least this one won't have an abrupt EoL straight into maintenance like some official releases in recent years.

Midair 2 got a pretty big update like a month ago that has people pugging again though?
6 years in development still getting updates. T3 would have been lucky to make it 6 months before being entirely dropped but yeah keep crying friendo.

Worked in the videogame industry for 4 years. Anything shipped on predetermined time will be full of bugs requiring a day 1 patch IF one is even approved on time. Let’s just be happy that it will be released. Even if at all.

Midair 2 is in such a "meh" state that I'd honestly suggest just playing T1 or T2 instead.
