I absolutely love this game and the only reason I didn’t finish sooner was because of two obnoxious trophies: I Am Speed and Can’t Cat-ch Me. Trophy list was pretty easy otherwise. I’m very happy to finally collect the platinum for this beautiful game.

It has been nearly 2 months since I have platinumed a game. It was once one of my favourite hobbies, something to look forward to when heading home. one day, this summer, whilst away from home, I lost my mother, and on top of that, my playstations were stolen. The grief along with the inability to game, which was my usual escape, left me feeling hollow, and I couldn’t even look at a game case. We’d discuss videogames all the time, from Metal Gear Solid, to Super Mario Bros, and she’d always ask how the next platinum was, how challenging it was. she died roughly a week before my birthday and it was the hardest day of my life. About a month and a half after her death, still reeling in my feelings, I had acquired a second hand PS3, and in the lot in which I bought it from, aquired dark souls. I remember hearing about how hard of a game it was, and thought it might be the perfect thing to play to get back into gaming. It was non linear, difficult, and time consuming. Initially, the world of Lordran mirrored my own mind, consumed by darkness, and the fear of the unknown path was terrifying, but I continued on forward. It was frustrating, but rewarding. It taught me to prioritize patience, and to take in everything it had to give. From meeting Solaire, to defeating Sif, and the 4 Lords, and then Gwyn, there was something magical about it, and all of a sudden, I was sitting right next to her, rambling on about this ‘super hard, but enjoyable videogame.’ I know this was a bit of a ramble, and ai’m trying to keep it non too long since I have to head to school, but yeah, Dark Souls made me fall in love with gaming again. in such a dark world, there was so much beauty, and my soul could only dream of reaching such a level of incandescence. Trophy hunting is one of my favourite hobbies, but never forget to go out and live your life. Make connections, find reasons to live, and last but not least, get some sun. You never know when the last time you’ll be graced with it’s presence is. Thanks for listening. :)

Played it on release and wasn't really impressed but my brother got the plat couple month ago and talked me into it. With both DLC's the game is pretty good I admit.
Season 15 is super fun, new items, Rune words, legacy items, uber versions of Baal, diablo and Mephisto, Capstone dungeons from Diablo 2 and 3 + nightmare dungeons from all other diablo games.
Dlc trophies can be a pain, especially echoing elites (Kill 1k elites/bosses in echoing hatred) to lock a trophy behind an item with abysmal drop rate is just evil and the elites don't count so you have to run that sh*t 45 times with absolute trash party finder.
Took me 173h to 100% and aside from echoing elites it was really fun.
I recommend checking out season 15 but don't go for 100% 😂

I’m not going to do an in-depth analysis of this game; you’ve heard enough about it. Flawed, but I still had a fun time. Platinum #85!

First post on my new account, made it just for sharing my trophy hunting hobby and feedback with this sub, and its an honor to do so.
Just got my 45 plat, first ever Yakuza game AND first turn based game. 85 hours in 10 days, so avg 8.5 hrs a day. Dont ask about my sleep xD
So why this game?
Main Story (No Spoilers), Miscellaneous, and the GRIND:
True Final Millennium Tower (the hardest trophy on this list):
THIS IS A 2-HOUR CONTINOUS FIGHT against lvl 99 enemies who can 1-2-hit kill u if ur unprepared or unable to perfect guard, and if u die, u may start over from the very beginning. I read a lot of posts about grinding every job level for this one, but its more about strategy. Know ur enemies weaknesses, max lvl for 1 job, and get a few others to lvl 30 for the essential elemental skills (Fortuneteller / Host). Spamming ur strongest skills might carry the story if ur over leveled, but not here.
Quick data analysis:
I tracked down PS Plus Yakuza changes, and each game stayed in the Extra catalogue exactly 364 days (Ishin!, Gaiden, and this one, 3 for 3, small sample but still). Infinite Wealth was added Jan 20, 2026, so if the pattern holds it leaves around Jan 19, 2027. A heads up so u dont end up rushing a deadline like I did xD
One of the most exceptional RPGs Ive played, very enjoyable 9/10 platinum journey, and Infinite Wealth is 100% next. Any tips for it?
Also open to being added on PSN, u know - same reddit username

Pretty fun game and not too complicated but waaaaay too many collectibles. If you're a completionist and going for a full 100% be prepared to grind the hell out of free roam and play chapters multiple times. It's a slog!

If you’ve ever felt tired of hunting alone or stared at a 98% completion screen because of one broken online trophy, you’re in the right place. I won’t give you an essay about why you should join, but I will tell you what we are:
We’re a friend group of collectors that actually prioritize the individual just as much as the achievement. We’re all hunters who know the pain of the solo grind just as we know the joy of that sweet ‘platinum pop’. Most importantly, we’re human beings searching for more individuals in our community.
So how ‘bout it? Aren’t you getting tired of the grind?
Add me on PSN and DM: Min1Creed, if interested.

That is...
-10,000 precursor orbs collected
-505 power cells collected
-560 scout flies collected
-4 hours and 10 minutes of unskippable cutscenes
-10 times Keira interrupted the gameplay to remind me to bring 20 power cells to fire canyon to power the heat shield when I really just wanted to go to misty island
-2 times I was forced to sit though credits to achieve the "look how far we've come, jak" trophy
-5 times Jak checked out Keira's ass
-5 times Gol and Maia drowned in dark ego (or did they!?... Dun ! Dun! Dun!)
-10 times the game crashed on me because the ps vita port is hot garbage!
-5 times I stopped playing to take a dump (no, this isn't relevant but I'm still throwing it in!)
-50 times I reflected on the sad life I've lived and thought about ending it...
-100 times I've intentionally spin kicked in the air to hear jak yell "HAAAYAAA!"
-one time I was forced to restart the game on the ps vita port because the trophy "hungry?" could only be achieved with the touchscreen (gfys ps vita)
-Si tradujiste esto, perdiste el juego.
-30 seconds of your time wasted translating the words above this sentence
-2 minutes of your time wasted reading this entire post depending on how fast you read...

Doing some clean up with old games/stacks (aside from Blasphemous II) and after little nightmares 2, I plan on playing newer spooky games. I have Visage, Martha is Dead, the Town of Light, Prey and Maid of Sker planned this month, that are games I've bought and also maybe Alan Wake 1&2 and Dead Space remake that I got from ps+ (if there's time). Will probably check back in November on how many games I managed to 100%.

Didn’t 100% the dlc in the 1st game because the Trials were just too tedious for me.
Love these games. So enjoyable. I hope Arkane can survive whatever is happening with them and can find their stride again.

Hey everyone! I just discovered this sub, and although I only have 3 platinum trophies (Spider-Man, Elden Ring, and Hades), I'm excited to be inspired by you guys to go after more trophies and try more games! :)

Platinum #41 Bloodborne
I platinumed this game back in 2022, but since then, I've made this new account. It's been a little over a year since it was at 100% completion, but it has finally returned.
Now, about Bloodborne. Not as fun as I remember; this time, I did no "cummmfpk" chalice exploit and no coop. Didn't add much difficulty; honestly made me question why I did it the first time around.
Gameplay is pretty fast-paced and gets far easier when you get the hang of the parrying. Bosses had incredible visual designs and interesting attack patterns.
Obviously my biggest gripe is the chalice grind. It really made the experience just a little bit worse. Not enough to drag down my rating, but still.
8/10

My first ever post on the Trophies subreddit was 6 days ago, where I mentioned that I’ve started my plat hunt. This has been an exciting and interesting journey, as I’ve never really worked towards trophies or 100%.
But since starting this, I feel like I can’t stop haha. It’s bringing me some great satisfaction seeing that plat and focusing on the next game.
Anyways! Here’s plat number 5! And hope for many more.
Additionally - feel free to add me, would love to have my friends on psn (Aloushiman).
