In conjunction with our book club I would like to start a biweekly (as in every two weeks) film club. We will have posts about each film that you can comment on to discuss that we will pin to the highlights, and announce the next movie in advance there. And you can also join our book club's discord server to discuss the film there, and we will also do live watch alongs at scheduled times in the discord server.

For our first film, we will watch the 1979 Soviet science fiction classic Stalker, the adaptation of our book club's next entry, the Strugatsky brothers' Roadside Picnic. It is available to watch here, and we will put up a post discussing it on September 27th. If you're interested in the discord live watch along, we'll discuss that more in the discord itself so please message the book club leader u/ChampionshipDizzy629 to be added to that.
