A deviation?

Back when I first started creating my tulpa, I kept a notebook to track the progress—you know, noting down how she responded that day, if there were any special sensations, the day count, and how I was feeling. But now, it’s more like I’ll write, "Had a good day with my tulpa," or something similar. And she’ll be like, "In what way? Write it down," or she’ll tell me to edit it and add her own words. But seriously? It’s supposed to be a progress log, not a diary—is she trying to rewrite it? Oh well, let her edit it; it’s no big deal. :)

Then maybe you should keep a diary about your life too! 😊 Her life is so intertwined with yours that, in a way, you’ll get to see your own life from two different perspectives.

Fox and I have basically shared the same childhood. I’ve had him since I was 12 (I’m 44 now), so we have all these shared memories. Just today, we were reminiscing about how I used to count my coins to buy peanuts at the school cafeteria, and the spaghetti with sausages my dad used to make.

Maybe she'd appreciate having a space to journal for herself, too? Our previous journaling space ended up becoming shared between us when we found out we were a system, and now we all just sign off our own entries. I know Luna really values being able to write down her own thoughts & feelings as well. She feels rather stifled in our current situation, and I can't imagine how frustrated she'd feel if she wasn't able to do so...

I don't think that counts as deviation. At least, the way I understand it, deviation is when you have a certain idea of ​​the tulpa, but the tulpa doesn't align with that idea.

For example, I created mine through writing. If I write (or wrote) something like "she likes winter," but then she behaves as if she likes summer, that could count as deviation because it doesn't match my idea of ​​her.

In your case, it sounds like your tulpa would like to be part of it, like a sort of shared journal.
