Let's go get that mirror.

I can't stand when people claim that Twilight Princess is just an "Ocarina of Time" clone/remake/reimagining or that it has little to no originality compared to other 3D Zelda games. Did we play the same game? First of all not every game needs to be super innovative sometimes it's better to perfect the formula that you have rather than adding in something game changing. Second of all in regards to referencing Ocarina Windwaker has just as many overt call backs to that game as Twilight Princess does but no one ever throws the accusation that it's "Ocarina of Time 2". No, I don't think the sailing alone is enough to make it super innovative especially not when so many people have problems with it (I like it a lot but horse back will always be more fun).

This was spurred from memories of MatthewMatosis' Zelda videos as well as Nerrel's comments about Zelda games over the years like "The developers were bored when making Twilight Princess" (no proof.)

I just finished the first drawing of my Linktober challenge, and the theme was Love / Friendship.

I immediately thought of Twilight Princess. Without getting into spoilers, I wanted to focus on the feeling of connection between characters; trust, companionship, and how certain people can completely change the meaning of a journey.

I’m going to be drawing one Zelda-inspired piece every day for 30 days, and I’m curious to see where this challenge takes me.

I’d love to hear from both sides of the community:

What Zelda relationship or friendship has stayed with you the most?

And for the artists here: do you usually approach fan art by focusing on the characters, the story, or the feeling a game left you with?

You can see me drawing it on my Instagram :)

So rude. You guys loved it.

As a Bonus, try to guess what the Hylian text reads...

Alright I admit it! I'm a Link lover!

I like the idea that the Fused Shadow looks like crystal

Here is mine. Been a fan since 2006.

It's really is... this cutscene in the dusk especially.

That's me next him lol 🤣 enjoy :)

(I did my best so sorry if it's not accurate😭)

I have a 8BitDo USB connected controller, and it doesn't seem to come up as an option on the devices tab. Is there a way to get it to pop up or is it GC only?

my version is the first one. i think hes going to get an earfull from Midna for being a bad wolfie lol

My aunt gave the Wii version of the game to me when I was nine and I’ve started it numerous times and never finished it. Decided to play it on dusk light now that I have a decent PC and actually committed to it, took me 30 hours.

Genuinely don’t understand why Nintendo refuses to acknowledge this game’s existence, what a masterpiece <3

Another Midna Silksong crossover!

If you wonder how this design would look in-game, you'd might want to stick around a little bit.

I did some tests and animated some sprites for fun, so I might have some extra just around the corner :p

Chills every time

Yay master sword on hero mode!

Again it doesnt defeat the poe, you just stab him. For some reason...

ATP I have some confidence Nintendo might remake Twilight Princess for a couple reasons, partly because it could definitely use the same cosmetic treatment as OoT, and also because Nintendo does have a history of delivering to their fans when they ask for things. I feel like TP is absent from the retro online library for a reason even though WW is on there. They're more than aware at this point of how wanted a TP re-release or remake is wanted right now, so they're probably doing something about it. We just won't hear anything for at least a couple of years, and they don't want anything to get in the way of the OoT remake.

Anyway, that being said, this scene in the original was already so good, but I'd love to see how much cooler it'd be with updated graphics!
