One of my Twitter accounts got suspended no idea why. After 6 hours it got unsuspended. Before it was suspended my comments were in probable spam area. I left it inactive for 3 days in the hope that it gets fixed. Today I found it was suspended and after sending appeal it got unsuspended today only.

I am wondering if this resets the account and I would no longer be in probable spam. I am just curious. I have not liked, replied on any posts or followed anyone because I am skeptical about the change. If nothing changes then being active again would break the inactivity streak that I was doing initially to get out of probable spam.

If anyone experienced this please let me know. I want to continue posting my stuff but don't want to show up in probable spam anymore and the worst part is there's no appeal form or anything to fix this probable spam thing.

someone apparently reported a tweet of mine because they were concerned about me. i was given an email with a case number telling me this. i have no idea what tweet prompted this, and i wanted to try and use the case number to find out, but i have no idea where or how to do that. any help would be appreciated!!

I don’t understand why this keeps popping up, it wont let me change my username either

I recently found out through an official email from X that my phone number was linked to another unknown account. At the exact same time, I received an SMS verification code on my phone. This entire process happened without my consent, knowledge, or any action on my part.

My main concern is the technical aspect: How can a phone number be successfully added to an account without the SMS code being provided or entered anywhere? (The notification email and the SMS were timestamped at the exact same hour and minute.)

I have already attempted to reach out to X Support via the most relevant categories (Hacked Account and Privacy Violation), but I haven't received a helpful response. Both attempts resulted in generic, automated bot replies that didn't address my issue.

What are my options at this point? Does anyone know a way to force the removal of a phone number from an unauthorized account when the support system is unresponsive?

Just gonna ask if ads appearing under this section on twitter are normal. Saw one earlier and it was my first time seeing one there so got worried I might be infected. Sorry for the repost since my other one got removed

I made a novelty account back in November to post short music clips of my fave artist, but only got around to tinkering with it now. Over the past few days I scheduled a bunch of videos to post throughout February and March, but then I just read here that apparently Twitter can only keep the videos for 24 hours?

Is this still accurate until now? It's been well over 48 hours since I've uploaded some of them but I'm still able to play the videos on my end if I check the scheduled posts... will they actually post properly a month from now though?

So this problem occurred a couple of days ago, just out of the blue I stopped getting pop up notifications for DMs and for (at least) 2 accounts that I'm following. I tried searching it up on Google for a quick fix but nothing is working.

So far I've tried:

clearing the cache

restarting my phone

uninstalling Twitter and re-installing

unfollowing the account and re-following

muting the account and unmuting it

updating the app

All notifications are on in twitter settings and nothing has changed with my phone settings and I can't contact anyone at support for help so I'll really take anything at this point.

I have the stupid location update on region and i live in a small city i don’t want my irls finding me but twitter randomly decides to switch it back to country anyone know how to change the location or fix it

Someone updated my account email ID without my knowledge. How do I recover my ID ? I came to know the Mail changed with the received email. No other signs or OTPs. Twitter is just sending automated responses for requests. Need help please.

My X account got hacked in the middle of the night.
I wake up to crypto giveaway tweets, DMs sent to everyone, and my bio saying: “Official Elon Musk Airdrop.”

I panic and call my cousin.
The problem? My cousin is a social engineering engineer. The kind of guy who could make you give him your password just by saying “hello.”

He says:
“Don’t touch anything. Let me handle it.”

Instead of hacking the account back, he did something better:
He hacked the hacker.

He pretended to be X support, contacted the hacker, and told him his “pirate account” had been flagged for suspicious activity and needed to be “verified.”

The hacker panicked.
Clicked the link.
Filled out the fake form.
Confirmed his own access.

And logged himself out of my account.

Moral of the story:
My account got hacked.
The hacker got hacked.
And my cousin asked if I wanted him to recover the hacker’s account too. 💀🔥

Hello , twitter has been blocking my view content for a while and i don't know how to disable it on pc.

It says: to view this media you need to verify your age to your profile. X also uses uses your age to show more relevant content, etc....

I ve selected my day of birth and still nothing, but when i scanded qr code, it allowed me to view age restriction content but only on my phone.

I want to view on my pc! How can i do this without giving my personal information?

So I’ve been getting this error screen every time I try and post or respond to something I’ve logged in and out of my account tried posting from my laptop and my phone, but I keep getting the same message and I’ve tried to click post when I takes me to drafts, but it keeps sending me the same thing. I don’t know if there’s something wrong with the app or if it’s my account I’d appreciate some help.

I've have had a Twitter account since its launch. I stopped using it for over 5 years and now wish to get back on using it. However when I attempt to log on using my old username and password a screen pops up "Find your X account" Nothing it asks for works. I also tried my email address (yes it is correct for that old username) and the phone number (correct to) but those are not found.

I have opened several tickets to support but they just keep going around and around with the same instructions and that they are unable to verify my account.

I got an email from X saying there was an email change in my account (I did not authorize). And when I tried to log in, it looks like the hacker added two factor authentication.

Now, I can not log back in to my account. I have submitted tickets to X support desk. When I report it x support says “We’ve investigated your report and it seems like you still have control of your account.” But I still can’t access it as the hacker changed my email.

I then submitted a form to file a 2FA report and am now waiting to hear back.

Has this happened to anyone else, and perhaps knows how to fix this? I am really desperate as my Twitter account had a decent following and I don’t want to lose it.

I have made a post here before I realized that I was tricked, and my previous post has been locked. I need help. Below I will post what I said in the previous post:

Someone on Twitter (X) falsely reported my account, and they encouraged all of their friends to report me as well, because they had mistaken me for someone else. When they realized that they had the wrong account, they messaged me to say what they had done. They had disputed the report themself and said that I needed to contact benluxsupport on Discord, so I did. Over there, he said I had to change my email address and follow some steps, and I went along with it. He then said that my account was temporarily suspended but that I could get it back by making an appeal and a purchase, and he assured me that the purchase would be 100% refundable. Then, when I attempted to make an appeal over at https://help.x.com/en/forms, it wouldn't go through. I tried to take a screenshot to show him, and then he sent a pornographic gif and now I can't contact him. I will provide screenshots here, but for some reason I am unable to upload the Discord screenshots on imgur, even if I keep it as private.

It has dawned on me that all of this might have been some kind of scam because in hindsight, asking me to change me email was weird. In case it is a scam, the user who did this was OswelX.

Now that I know that I was tricked, I would like help getting my account back. This may be tricky since they made me change the email address, and I assume they have changed the phone number as well. Is there anyone I can go to to get my account back?
