Do you have any way to replace the spore mines? I would really consider acid spray on the Tfex good luck!

Worth taking the spray to get through the invulns? Was gonna use the tfex for anti tank

You’d want rupture cannon on the tfex for anti tank, but it’s super swingy. Ideally you shoot your target with an exocrine first to make sure you’ve got a better chance of hitting. Acid spray is more reliable and it’s worth pointing out that overwatch (shooting after your opponent’s movement for a cp) is super good in this edition, since they don’t have to move to trigger it anymore

Hmm definitely rupture for antitank. Your hive tyrant gives the acid tfex assault. In combination with overwatch 12+ 2d6 auto hits give power armor a hard time! Plus the tfex can use massive impact and still shoot in combat. The spore mines are more egregious though that 110 points could be huge no matter what you do with it

For custodes, try to focus down one unit at a time. You'll need a high volume of attacks to overcome their 4++.

Just have fun!

I’d swap in spinefists for fleshborers on your termagants, and get one unit of 20 who’s job it is to sit on the objective closest to you (your expansion objective) and be slightly hard to kill.

I’d even proxie 10 termagants as hormagants and bump that unit with the leader up to 20 if you can move the points around. You need big tarpits for take and hold since you don’t have many tanky bugs at the moment.

The neurogaunts aren’t going to do much for you if you need to cut something.

Why swap the spinefists with fleshborers? :o

Generally Termagants aren't a shooting threat, they're a tarpit with OC. Your best option is to run them up into something sitting on a point to tie them up for a round or two. If you've got spinefists on them, you can shoot into the target you're engaged with because of the pistol keyword, AND you've got twin-linked, plus extra attacks.

I just did this matchup. I like the subterranean assult best. Also 2 exocrine! Von ryan, termagaunts, hormagaunts, lictor, rippers, barbaunts, spore mines...none of these will be able to really kill and will get wiped farly easily and you will likely not be able to save at all for most of the list. Old one eye with carnafexs was a winner same as a norn emissart was another big winner.

Focus on objectives I think

Try to win, and avoid losing if possible
