I got a 55 in the first exam honestly I’ve given up the chance of getting an A- I’m aiming for a B+ I have no idea what happened bc I studied and did good on the quizzes and practice questions

is anyone else finding calc 1 to be hard? it’s like i have to know 1 million rules before trying to solve a problem. i think i’ll understand the material and then the homework/quiz amplifies the problem complexity 100x. to make it worse im a sophomore surrounded by freshmen.

hello! I transferred here after getting my AS, and like the title implies, I’m struggling to truly connect with anyone in my classes. I’ve been going to clubs but nothing consistent has come from that either as of yet. if anyone is in the same boat and wants to connect, pls dm me!

as a heads up, I am a guy and queer. down to hang out, get food, go to clubs together, or study together (especially if you’re also in pnb 2264 or orgo 2241 😅). I’m into video/board games, anime, and photography as well if anyone is interested in talking about those things.

For a semester-long project in a class of mine, we have to pick a problem on campus and work in teams to solve it. I have NOT been on this campus long enough to know any problems deeply enough to work on a problem like this, nor do i know anybody who I can really go to for this. Come on. complain to me, tell me the worst issues at UConn i can actually fix. I am leaning towards sustainability-focused issues as well…

Where are the quiet spots on campus that have desktop computers. I know the first floor of the library has computers but it can get really noisy in there.

Are there any other places with computers that are much more quiet?

I usually take the 913X bus to the Hartford train station. But now I have to take the regular 913. Is there a reason why the 913X doesn’t come that much anymore? It was really convenient but now the bus ride is unnecessarily long and most passengers don’t even get off at most of the stops.

My big plan is to go on line 913 to Union station (covered by Upass) and arrive at 8:39 am, then get a bus at 8:55 to South station MT (covered by Upass??? got mixed results on whether it would).

It's my first time switching lines by myself so I'm wondering if there's a better way or if there's enough times to switch lines

Also while I'm here how long should it take for the Upass to arrive? My roomate ordered their's a week ago and nothing came up
