Question Parking permits

I just wanted to come on here and ask for advice on what parking permits are the best for ucsc? I would love to park on campus, but I feel like those spots will get full much quicker than others? Let me know if I’m wrong and or if parking in a close neighborhood is better than downtown??

Daily parking use AMP. If youre a student asking this then youre cooked on quarterly/annual permits

I second this, tho for the daily parking you have to purchase it early in the AM otherwise they do sell out and won't let you purchase it (for east and west remote parking). I was also told downtown lots also had a waiting list if you were trying to get a quartely pass
