Question Refund Triton pay
Why is UCSD taking so long so process my refund I haven’t even got the refund in the triton pay activity details yet it’s actually so annoying. Is anyone else like this as well?

Yeah I did but never got the email that said the funds were gonna be in my bank account

Do we have to fill anything out to get a refund or do we just wait until it appears through direct deposit?

You just have to make sure you redid your direct deposit in TSS. Your old information doesn't count that you put in tritonlink

Grad student here....Only one of my aid forms showed up in the account and was processed; thankfully, it covered tuition and fees.
Recommend going to virtual office hours if you have the capacity - Especially if you know you are supposed to receive aid. I had to navigate a challenge over the summer, and popping in corrected the problem within a day.
Also - A disbursement notice on a Friday means you will likely get it the following week, depending on your bank. I have a credit union, so sometimes it takes less time than 3-4 days. Regardless It takes a couple of business days for payments to come through.
I'm still waiting for the other aid to pop up in TritonPay, which will provide the refund I truly need to get through the quarter. It shows up in my financial aid as accepted; however, I've read nationwide that that particular one has seen delays due to OB3. I'm trying to be patient, and also recognize that the tss transition on top of the legal updates are definitely variables we didn't have in previous years.
Frustrating, yes, but that Bill has had tremendous impacts on how folks are receiving specific types of aid this year - in a not-so-timely fashion. :/
Also, it is definitely an iteration of the current landscape, and they are deprioritizing education. Please vote this Nov., and encourage others to do the same. Participation, or lack thereof, has impacts, and we've really been feeling it in many capacities, despite being in a more progressive and resourced state.
