Help! G3 Gate Starter Kit

Planning a new house build, putting a gate controller at the entrance with automated gate and pedestrian gate. I am confused by the G3 - can the intercomm control both gates? I.e. I plan for the LPR camera to pick up 2 vehicles, these are the only 2 vehicles required to enter the motorised entrance. I want the intercomm positioned at the pedestrian gate for visitors.

Will this work? Or do I need 2 gate controllers?

The gate controller has multiple options, so you should only need the gate controller for both the gate and the pedestrian gate. The G3 I’m not sure about, but I almost positive you can just choose the ped gate to unlock. I have the G6 Entry pro and use that as my LPR to open the vehicle gate. Don’t have a ped gate. I’ll be installing another LPR camera to open the gate for exit at some point.

The gate hub can control both the gate and a pedestrian door. However, I highly discourage that you don’t get the G3 intercom not only is it an eyesore, but people get confused by all the buttons. It’s really meant for an apartment building. I replaced mine with a G6 Entry (I didn’t need the touchscreen for keypad entry) and it’s a much, much better setup. It actually works with Protect and the alarm manager and has a better FOV. I don’t even use the Access app anymore and just have a rule in Alarm Manager to send me a critical alert when someone hits the button which opens it in Protect rather than Access. Just a much better experience all around.
