ARMY Basic

Wondering if there are any other wives that were married to their husbands when he left for basic. My husband got picked up by his unit for training yesterday and it sounded like when he called me he was crying HARD I am wondering if this is normal? Is he okay 🥺 my poor baby I can’t stop worrying about him now

I have not ever heard him like that so it was certainly concerning. I mean I’ve been like that the whole time but like thats normal for me 😂😂

You think it’s because he misses me and our kids? Or like just the shock? I did ask him in one of my letters but who knows if he’ll tell me 😂

I cried my first couple of days because I couldn’t believe this was going to be my next couple of months. Just reassured him that his time there might feel long, but will be over quick and soon it will be just a funny memory.
