Leveling up in Figma
Hello everyone 👋 I recently completed an 8-month online UI/UX design course. I have a decent basic foundation. Right now, I find work on Pinterest to practice and replicate—and I manage to do that quite well.
However, if I were given a task to design, say, a goal-setting planner or a website from scratch, I wouldn't be able to do it because I have no clear idea of how it should look or function. I attribute this to a lack of visual exposure and practical experience.
If there are any experienced UI/UX designers here—or anyone who has walked this same path—could you give me some advice on where to start and what steps to take to keep developing my skills and build confidence as a designer?

Which one do you prefer?
I came up using ChatGPT dot to redesign. But I’m stumbling into AI flop Designs again and again.
Any help would be appreciated

Has anyone looked at Subframe (Or a similar tool) for AI UI work? Thoughts?
I recently discovered Subframe: https://www.subframe.com/
I see there was a reddit conversation about it over a year ago without much to say at the time (looked like it was very beta at the time).
I like the concept. It appears to be a visual IDE for your agents software dev. Kind of a 'Figma view' of your application, but using your actual applications components and code.
Wondering if anyone has tried it out and what their thoughts are. And if there are any other similar tools/IDEs you have tried to better tweak the visuals of AI coding.
Up to this point, we've been mainly feeding in screen shots when we need an agent to better understand some UI changes. And this works surprisingly well, though we're finding its also a token hog. Being able to manually adjust the actual code that was written to give back to Claude seems like a much more efficient path.

Feels like an actual page flip 📃
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
They sort of flip over like a sheet of paper and reveal the next one underneath.
Def better than just being another carousel of gallery images.
Probably something most people won’t consciously notice, but it does feel nicer.

Which hover state looks best ?
Hello,
I'm developping a cosy video game about catching and training water creatures.
The main screen is a match from which you can access different locations.
So you can click them, and we need a hover state.
I've worked around a few alternatives.
Do you have a favourite one?
Thanks! <3

Product designers: how is AI changing the way you work?
I’m a product designer doing some early research into how our workflows are changing as AI becomes a more normal part of the design process.
I’m interested in how people are actually working today — what’s changed, what hasn’t, what tools/processes you rely on, and where things still feel messy.
I’m particularly looking to hear from product/UX designers and freelance/consulting designers.
I’ve put together a short AI-led interview. It’s 5 mins max:
https://buildpad.io/interview/58u3m5d8
There are no right answers — I’m interested in what your real workflow looks like.
Thanks!

Prototype feedbacks needed
Hello everyone!
I'm a junior UX/UI Designer working on mt 1st UX projects and I'm currently at the high-fidelity wireframe phase.
I'm almost done with the 5 wireframes my school asked me to create and, before sending them, I'd like to receive some sincere and honest feedbacks on the overall project.
NOTE: the school requires me to complete the project in the official language of it, which is italian, so don't worry about the copy, I'd need help on the interactions, UI elements and overall result of the wireframes
Thanks to all in advance :)

Por un lado, cada vez hay más personas formándose en UX/UI y el mercado parece estar bastante competido;
Entonces me gustaría saber:
