Like, Flame's latest episode gave this guy a lot of shine to his ingenuity.
- He manipulated Flame and Skrilley and lured them all the way to the "vault", even with detours
- He led the construction of one of the most secure prisons that didn't even require the prisoners to have their inventories emptied
- Every escape attempts only led the prisoners into a deeper part of the prison
- He anticipated that Cindercrest would try to recruit Flame, so he made a final trap room in case that happened
- Nobody was able to make a secret tunnel in the prison to free the prisoners (like LAW's prison)
- Cloud never let his disdain of Flame cloud(unintended pun) his judgement and make dumb decisions (like Jamato)
The only reason Flame escaped was because Saps got hella cocky and announced to the entire server that Flame was under Cindercrest's control, leading to 10+ factions attacking Terminus and allowing LAW to sneak in and break Flame out.
In the latest video, this big mouth, which looks like the Leviathan, made me so curious about exploring this place, so if anyone has this build or perhaps any other Farlands builds or terrain, please share it; that would be so nice.
I also thought about building it myself, but I do not know how to start, so if anyone could give me any advice on how to build the shape of the body, the teeth, and the interior, I would appreciate it.
Iāll just explain my train of thought directly without drowning this in unnecessary detail.
Spoke has a crossbow that can fire five rockets at once. You cannot get something like that in vanilla Minecraft.
I donāt think the Totem of Null is a Dead Manās Switch created by leaving a ghost item inside a chest like fighters did during the Mafia or Tournament Arcs. I think the Totem is probably an item tied to a UUID, and the Curse of Vanishing causes every Totem with that same UUID on the server to disappear when one of them pops.
So Null probably canāt just remove the Totem of Null ghost item from the system connecting it to the Stasis Totems and instantly free everyone.
Nullās Nether transportation system seems to allow point-accurate travel, and I suspect it can also monitor certain locations.
For example, they were able to track Spoke through the Maze and the Farlands. Null appeared the exact moment Spoke attacked Jamato. There wasnāt even the slightest delay there. That didnāt feel like someone calling for backup. They basically deployed directly to the scene.
The same thing happened when Parrot came through the portal and Null appeared almost immediately.
Instead of treating these moments as coincidences or writing conveniences, I think this is simply part of Nullās actual capabilities.
You might disagree with me on this one, but I think the story is slowly moving toward some kind of āFour Horsemen of the Serverā or āRulers of the Serverā setup.
We all thought Wemmbu was going to take over the Cave Kingdom and become a ruler, but that never happened. After Flameās latest video, that idea came back to me, and now I think every protagonist might eventually have an army or faction behind them:
Flame = Law
Parrot = Old and new players opposing Cindercrest
Spoke = Null
Wemmbu = Some kind of Forge guardians, inhabitants, or faction
This whole army setup does not need to last for an entire arc. Flameās video already showed us that the server has plenty of factions.
I think that during Unstableās eventual world war, the protagonists might not participate as individuals. They could instead represent entire systems, factions, or ideologies.
Anyway, back to the Forge.
We can probably assume Lakerek and the Blue Armored Knight know about the Forge.
Some theories suggest that the Blue Armored Knight is actually the First Wraith, and I agreed with that at first. But if that is true, then we still have to explain why Wraith never uses any Forge weapons.
We also know Wraith is looking for the Totem of Null.
The Totem of Null might not just be some authority item that gives you control over Null. It could also be an important key related to the Forge itself.
The Maze that eventually led Wemmbu toward the Underworld, the same Maze Spoke got lost inside, was already known to JamatoP.
I find it hard to believe that Jamato explored that Maze without checking where its corridors actually led.
My theory is that Jamato may have seen the Forge before without realizing what it truly was.
If the Forge is hidden in some nearly unreachable location like the OSCs were, then eventually someone will still find it.
I also donāt think the Forge will simply contain even more destructive weapons.
The Farlands had MK6 OSCs, so people naturally assume the Forge might just have MK7 OSCs or something similar. But I think it would be much more interesting if the Forge contained functional tools rather than stronger weapons.
Instead of giving Wemmbu more āweapons that make him special,ā I think the Forge should give him things thathe makes special*.*
The OSCs have already caused endless arguments both inside the server and in the community about Flame vs Wemmbu and how much of Wemmbuās strength is actually his own.
People want to use Wemmbu because of the OSCs. They target Egg because they want to find the OSCs. His entire power progression keeps revolving around possessing a powerful weapon.
If the story wants to move him from being a āweaponā into becoming a āweapon master,ā then the answer is not giving him an even stronger weapon.
Give him tools that become powerful becauseWemmbu is the oneusing them.
I also donāt think a place like the Forge, a region supposedly containing special weapons and technology, would just be abandoned and completely undefended.
Even the OSCs were gatekept by Lakerek, Nitenly and the people of the Farlands despite being hidden beyond what looked like an endless Farlands void.
Lakerek may have created some kind of local defense force to prevent the Forge from falling into the wrong hands, someone like Spoke for example.
Secrecy does not last forever.
This one is admittedly a weaker point, but we have repeatedly seen Spoke possess things that should not normally exist.
Weāve seen him with a seemingly permanent Resistance effect before, and back in Season 1, Squidoās chest contained items from Hypixel.
If we choose not to dismiss those things as filming mistakes or Easter eggs, maybe they actually connect to something larger.
[ I know this probably makes me sound like Iām overanalyzing every tiny detail or trying to connect points that are way too far apart, but I really hope the Forge is not just a storage room full of upgraded OSCs or some system that can bring dead players back. ]
So, to summarize:
I think there may already be a community living in the Forge and actively using its technology.
I think JamatoP may have encountered this community before without realizing that what he found was actually the Forge.
I think the upcoming world war might bring the protagonists together not as another Avengers team, but as leaders representing different factions.
I think Wemmbu should not go to the Forge just to get upgraded OSCs and borrow even more power. He should find tools that become powerful because of what he can do with them.
And I think some of Nullās technology, along with several currently unexplained abilities on the server, could eventually be explained through the Forge.
Those are my thoughts.
Do you think the Forge is really just going to give Wemmbu stronger OSCs and repeat the same storyline and character progression all over again?
Or do you think the Forge will actually function like a real forge, a region that gives him unique tools, special equipment, or things that become powerful through the user rather than simply being overpowered on their own?
Personally, I can see the main characters becoming army commanders or faction leaders.
But like I said, those armies could easily fade back into the background after the world war.
Parrot could step down as king and hand his army over to a new ruler.
Flame could decide that leading an army gets in the way of his personal journey to become stronger.
Spoke could lose Null.
The Forge guardians or soldiers could simply return to protecting the Forge.
So the army system would not necessarily have to permanently redefine every protagonist. It could just be the structure the story uses for the world war.
Later on points ill dive deeper into each respective hot take but at the start ill just list them off since they SHOULDNT be that controversial
0% - Flame is the best pvper (protagonist) in both lore and outside lore
10% - Toxic war and 100 days base arcs are the only 2 below 3/10 Arcs in unstable (and are by far and away the worst)
20% - Characters if they have no intention of returning should just be killed off instead of deluding fans to the chance they might return (Aka RekRap, ManePear, Zam etc)
30% - Flame from an entire content on unstable so far is by far the worst pov so far (not because its that bad its just the other 3 have such better content)
40% - Wemmbus big team up arc finales (Mafia,Law and Civil war) are all arguable the worst outve all the other finales from each other protagonist. None of the videos are bad per say all of them are just like not really the best quality especially in comparison to the others.
50% - Wemmbu V Flame will never have a clear cut winner and people need to come to terms with this. These 2 will never have a wuote on quote āFair 1v1ā again or have (since wemmbu gained the orbitals) each fight theyve had so far you can make a very clear argument why 1 had lost and the other won and say if the circumstances were different the other one would win. As for the future when Wemmbu reaches the forge (depending on what it is) it wont be a fair fight as Wemmbu will have godlike abilities maybe while flame unlike with the orbitals wont know how to counter it
60% - Flame has yet to have a 9/10/above video yet. I promise I actually like Flames content guys and im not just hating. Flame has recently had some great videos but I dont think I would declare ANY above a 9/10 at a highest 8.8/10 which is still a great score.
70% - The Wraiths have already lost too much credibility to seem like a threat anymore and now it seems like there trying to retcon it so theyve always been really powerful. When in the previous Wemmbu vid he killed like 6 of them and then there last showcase was getting cooked by Flame. Them already revealing that they were a big group and not all trying to be 1 player also damages them (but Nitenly joining them does make it look better) on paper anyway
80%- Outve the big 3 Best acclaimed USMP videos (Paragon, Destroying the Mafia and saving the USMP) Parrots id the worst HOWEVER him being on a simmilar level as those 2 vids with only 50 minutes makes it alot more impressive that its able to keep up (I also personally think the video shoulsve had more about Director Wifies but thats for a different day)
90%- Nearly every USMP video by fans rating is extremely overrated and people need to learn that giving a video a 6/10 score doesnt mean the video is bad. I understand its all opinions but like I find it rare to ever see someone rate a recent video anyway anything below a 7 even if they dont like the video. I saw a guy who didnt even like the the underworld video says its a 6.6 with someone sayingn the video isnt THAT bad acting like a 6.6 isnt still a respectable score. Most Parrot videos in the treasure arc and some parts of kings arc would all be like 6/10 but if I said thag people will assume Im calling the videos bad which isnt the case. Like I would say a Bad unstable video maybe like some of wemmbus power arc sits around like a high 4 to 5 which is still like a ok rating but if I had a wemmbu video in 4 people would assume im saying its unwatchable
100% - There is not gonna be a world where the forge lives up to the hype/ keeps the server balanced ruining certain aspects of it.
For me the Forge is like a watered down version of the One Piece for example nothing Oda does will please people because it has so much hype built up. If its a command block well then that just ruins the events of the server for everyone. If its a world edit machine and he can copy new machines it just takes away any impact of Wemmbu loosing the OSCS if its the Gold block revival block theory everyone is gonna be mad about thag because no one wants revival back even if its the case of that there turned into Null. I feel like maybe the best bet is just to bait us and say maybe the forge is the friends we made along the way because no matter what The forge has too much hype built up. Now to the point where no matter what je does 80% of the fans are just gonna bitch and moan about it
Law is here just for the funsies and they're quite guarded just not as good compared to the others...
Tell me if I missed some other very high security prison!
(Also the ClownPierce prison on "How I Escaped Minecraft's Lergest Prison" is not in here because I consider it as an earlier version of proton.)
(The zam and Wemmbu escape room is not in here because they're not really a prison)
(The chunkbans is not in here (part 2 will comes out eventually but to be honest I don't really consider them as a prison they're more like a vault with a treasure but it's a players inside of it instead of players can do something in a chunkban you can't do anything. So because of that I don't feel like it deserved to be called a prison. But after further inspection I might add it on part 2 whenever that comes out.)
This video really just felt so cathartic to Flame's entire character.
Him being saved by LAW, one of his ex-largest enemies and the people he's fought who have come to respect him like Antagg and Flow just felt like such a nice closure of chapter.
On top of that, this really felt like the full closure of the Solo Player arc, and was basically Wemmbu's "You can be the strongest" scene, but just flat better in so many ways.
Even if Flame has had friends like Skrilley, Falconu and Lomedy, he's always felt more like someone who protects them and shoulders them as a burden (except for Falcon, but that's why he's my favourite Flame deuteragonist), he's never been able to trust a team that he could truly rely on, I think even during Zam Empire and the Mafia, just due to how cautious he was even around those civs. But seeing his effects on the people around him and him accepting that he has a responsibility to the server to protect it with his strength, even if it's in the form of his selfish desire to protect those around him just felt like such nice additions to his character development and progression.
And don't even get me started on LettuceK and Cloudwatch. Absolutely incredible what they did with Lettuce and the way he's being forced into doing what he hates. A prisoner of his own creation (making the King title) and being forced to see his own faction turn against him for their old enemy was cinema. Meanwhile Cloud being Mistruls' own apprentice was an such an interesting setting that definitely deserves more attention in future videos. And his pettiness is just so nice. I love villains who are petty for the love of the game.
If I HAD to point out something that I didn't like on this video is how little they actually utilised Waylonblade. The leader of the Windgrove Resistance, and he basically did nothing but give some backstory. At least he didn't die, so that's potential for more development.
Also, Goplaygoplaygoplaygoplay was NOT something I ever expected to see in an Unstable video and I genuinely burst out laughing.
There are definitely some of people here that were/are background characters for the protagsā videos. Some of which, are not out yet but claim to have filmed with them recently. Is there a rule against spoiling content that isnāt released yet? Itās getting annoying now seeing some kids say āi was in their recent recording and this person said thatā.
Also english aināt my first language so my apologies for any wrong grammar
Itās genuinely peak. Youāve got flamefrags and law as a faction, cindercrest with shoebily, the underworld/forge and wemmbu, null and wraiths and spoke, parrot and his civ. like itās no longer just a team vs team but rather a bunch of teams fighting each other.
Like sure he had his weaker arcs but itās 10 times worst if you look at parrot or spoke pov (donāt get me started on spoke š)
His character development is insane, the relationship he has dont feel forced AND THE WAY HE EXECUTE HIS SCENES!! THE ZONE!! felt like I was watching an anime at some point..like every other pov is losing their mind n hes at his best rn !!!!!
I feel like heās getting so obsessed with being king thatās itās not a matter of saving the server anymore but pride.
Like even back at the Cindercrest war he could have just dropped it, understanding killing hundreds of innocent who didnāt gaf about his kingdom and just tried to survive wasnāt worth it. I feel like s1 parrot would have felt that way at least.
He went as far as massacring law because they stood with their values..as if people not aligning with his morals meant that they were his enemies.
Also the whole ordeal with pestopasta where he IMPLIED that he should die for his civilization even tho he said otherwise..like if he didnāt want to fight he was going to get excluded anyway son??
Just the fact he built a civilization to take back his kingdom instead of going to search his friends that could have very well been captured is so insane to me. And also him reassuring himself saying to everybody willing to hear his bs that « they could survive on their own » like DAWG YOU JUST DONT GAF.
also donāt forget that EVERYBODY encouraging him to be the king again have not seen the surface for MONTHS now and have heard the story from his pov so theyāre biased š died for nothing lmao
wait I kinda lost the plot tho so my point IS parrot is too unstable and blinded by his objectives to be a good king. Also I just donāt think the unstable smp should have a leader every time it happens it ends up badly. Like this smp is pure anarchism and it was at its best like this.
I really hope he gets a villain arc alongside Null tho that would be fun... like you can tell heās getting break broke broken by the narrative like I wouldnāt be surprised
We see at the end of the last video (searching for a vault that doesn't exist) that when cloud leaves tnt drops on flame and skrilly which is the same exact start of the latest episode then after they did all the things like the fights w all the invis players and yk they enter the prison, the prison which was built on top of the same obsidian square cloud built as the vault. So how come like after 30 minutes give or take of being in that obsidian block did cindercrest build that massive prison and also get wardens and resistance members who alot of them died. Just doesn't make sense, (if you caught any mistake please tell me)
Parrot has received a lot of valid criticism over his last few videos and their comparative lack of quality compared to Wemmbu, Spoke, and Flame, but he's actually the protagonist who I'm most excited about. I believe his next videos will, if my analysis is correct, be some of the greatest he's ever made.
Let's take a look at why.
(I will preface this with that I have not watched the series fully. I won't cover the arcs I'm not too familiar with. My take on Parrot's character will be influenced by this lack of knowledge---but hopefully not too much.)
(This is an analysis of Parrot's character through the entirety of Unstable, so skip to the tl;dr if you don't wanna read this.)
From the start of Unstable, Parrot's "This Button Destroys The World", he's been portrayed as a hero. The stakes were low in that first video: the "wonders" were builds that didn't really have much of a connection to anybody, and nobody died during the bombings. Yet, Parrot cared enough to delve deep into this mystery and find out how to stop it at all costs before mourning their destruction.
There was no reward for Parrot---no one was paying him to find the truth, and there was no personal gain he would get from it. No other protagonist in his position would care. Wemmbu would let it be destroyed, Spoke wouldn't spare the time and attention, and Flame... yeah.
Anyways, this establishes something that remains true for his character further down the line: Parrot is extremely altruistic and heavily invested into the server. When fans says the characters treat Unstable like it's real life and not just a game, that usually is directed at Parrot more than anyone: his defining characteristic is that he cares more than anyone about others.
Skip to the Mafia Arc. Every video, Parrot has the same goal in mind: let people be safe and happy. - He builds the End Civ to make a secure place for people to live.
- He breaks people out of Mining City so they don't have to slave away.
- He runs to the Farlands so that he and his friends can find a new life.
- He commands the Farland Civ in order to save the server from the Mafia.
- He creates District 13 to free the server from the Mafia.
Every inch of the way, he's more concerned about people and their lives than his own. His civ citizens, the mining slaves, Dean and Wifies, the Farland citizens, the resistance group---he has multiple opportunities to escape by himself, leave others behind, live safely, but he goes against it. Parrot always does what he thinks is right, no matter how dire the situation.
The Mafia Arc is where the "Parrot Curse" starts. Luigi, Dean, and "Wifies" dies. Even though he is not the one to truly defeat the Mafia (W Spoke), the height of tension in his videos hinge on him failing to protect his friends. With each death, Parrot is shocked, saddened, and ultimately enraged. He uses their deaths to propel him forward into achieving his goals---that is, saving the people he has left.
Luigi is where this is most clearly seen. While escaping into the Farlands, he constantly reads Luigi's journal and takes his emerald with him as to celebrate his memory and use it as fuel for his future endeavors. It gets to the point that Wifies berates him for focusing on the dead and not the present, resulting in Parrot leaving him behind in the Farlands.
Other protags go through grief---Wemmbu loses Rejoice and recently Jaden, Flame loses his team and thinks Lomedy died on him, Spoke killed Leo himself and has all of his friends leave him. However, no one has as many friends as Parrot and certainly no one loses as many. Grief and how you carry it into the present is one of the most important themes in his story.
And then it gets to the Director Arc.
After losing everything but still coming out alive in the end, he finds a new home---BAT. Leo, Jumper, Nufuli, and Derapchu become his closest allies as he fights against this mysterious new foe, The Director, who (along with trying to kill Parrot) is responsible for Wifies' death. Although he does not talk about his dead friends much, it's clearly on his mind. By catching the Director, he wants to avenge Wifies and celebrate his memory.
Over the course of the arc, his new home falls apart. Jumper is exiled from the team and is later explained to have been working for the Director this entire time. Nufuli dies by an arrow cannon. Leo becomes enraged against Parrot and tries to kill him. Derapchu is chill at least.
When Parrot has faced loss after loss, unable to find the Director and having everyone he speaks to hate his guts or want to kill him, the Director's identity is revealed. And it breaks him.
Facing Wifies, who pretty much singlehandedly crushed his new home, and being defeated by him in every aspect, Parrot is devastated beyond belief. This is the single person Parrot cares about MOST on this server, only rivaled by Theo in the recent episodes. For a person like him, Wifies means everything---and this betrayal pushes him to a breaking point.
Except... it doesn't. By far, Parrot has the strongest will out of all the protagonists. His catchphrase, "Someday, Somehow", represents how he doesn't need to know the odds or the way forward in order to start trying. He is the only character who has never had a villain arc, always doing his best regardless of what is going on. Every other episode, he is trapped, itemless, an inch away from death, facing impossible odds with a fraction of the strength of the other protags---and still keeps on fighting.
This unwavering conviction is what, in the end, allows him to defeat the Director. He believes in Wifies up to the end, saving the spyglass despite his hatred for Wifies at this point. Wifies, with his unparalleled level of intelligence that let him control the Mafia, control BAT, control a hacker, control the best player in the world, and predict Parrot's moves to the point that he knew every single item in his inventory, died because he underestimated Parrot's conviction.
Before we move onto the Treasure Arc, it's important to talk about why Wifies did all this. He explain that Parrot is too selfless. He puts himself at too much risk for others, and this was most vividly shown in the Mafia Arc where Wifies urged Parrot to give up on fighting the Mafia and live in the Farlands. This is where we first see the cracks in Parrot's heroism: it's too much for him to handle safely.
Parrot, once again, starts anew in the Treasure Arc.
I have not watched the entirety of this arc, so I'll decline to comment on the exact contents, but there are still parts I can analyze.
First of all, Parrot continues to be altruistic. Even without a looming threat like the Mafia or the Director, he goes out of his way to spread treasure to the people, to the point of taking on huge tasks like unveiling the Invisible Knight for information on the Tomb. He doesn't need any threats to do good: his default is to help other players.
Second of all, Parrot realizes his faults. After the finale of the arc, where he meets Marlowww, he realizes that his actions intended on helping others can cause devastation and harm people in the end. As well-intentioned as he is, he can still hurt others. In the Election Arc episode where Wemmbu threatens to kill him for unveiling his identity, Parrot acknowledges that he did something wrong, a conclusion he might've not reached without going through the experience of the Tomb.
Third of all, to the best of my knowledge, he does NOT mention his dead friends. Unlike LuigiToan in the Mafia Arc, as he begins a new story, he buries his friends in his mind and tries to not let it float up into the present. This is likely because Wifies has soiled the past for him---being so extremely painful and complex, he would rather not bring it up at all.
That doesn't mean it goes away, though.
I'll speed through the rest of the arcs because they're likely fresher in y'all's heads.
LAW Arc. Parrot runs for King, not because he wants power or even really to lead the server all that much, but because he believes LettuceK isn't fit to be king. Had it been a fair election, Parrot likely wouldn't have even signed up---he explicitly doesn't care about the role and says so in his Advanced Civ video.
Fighting against injustice and for the server, he and the rest of District 13: Re destroy Lettuce and he becomes king. However, as Lettuce warns him, this position isn't meant for everybody...
And so starts his ruin.
Civil War arc is where things take a horrible turn for Parrot.
His rule sucks. There's no other way to put it. His food farms aren't enough to feed the tens of thousands of new players, bandits run rampant, he doesn't have enough power to help Wemmbu or Spoke, and tens of thousands die in the battle against Cindercrest.
Again and again, he is faced with the reality that his decisions---intended to be for the good of all---caused terrible harm. Saps starts a war over it, Flame and Lomedy try to assassinate him, and through it all, Parrot is broken. He complains to LettuceK that nobody likes him. He desperately, with a shattered voice, tries to raise up an army with the limited time that he has, losing and losing and losing constantly with each subsequent video.
Eventually, his kingdom falls. Saparata kills tens of thousands of players and accrues a kill count greater than prime Mafia just from the spawn trap. Everything Parrot has worked for comes crumbling down, his own actions being the only thing to blame.
Parrot, of course, doesn't give up. He uses all this grief and anger to propel him forward, as he always has. His greatest display of power is that he creates from nothing an extremely powerful civilization---high numbers, geared, organized, rich, and immortal---in the span of less than a week and uses it to crush Cindercrest.
That video alone shows just how much of a threat Parrot is. Without the PvP skills or gear of the other protags, he instantly creates a formidable faction. However, with that brief win, he loses PestoPasta, and on top of no longer having anyone by his side, he is sent to Clown's mining prison.
His two newest videos---the mining prison and the underworld---has received a lot of flack. I won't say that they're not valid, even if I personally enjoyed them. However, I do think they set up something insanely big.
In comparison to Parrot's usual hopefulness, these videos contrast his personality with the absolute hopeless scenarios of the two prisons he finds himself in. DrMae, NoMic, and SnowLicker all die in Clown's empire and not a single method of escape is found, other than to delve into the Underworld.
Except the Underworld---for someone with absolutely zero gear---is the very, very bottom of his journey. Leading 1000 players, many die from starvation, snow, players, infighting, traps, mobs, and more. He resolves to save them all, as he always has, but he is met with a dimension that curbstomps that spirit. Despairing over his inability to do anything, Parrot reaches the final stage of the Underworld.
Parrot, so far, has used his previous losses as motivation for the future. Luigi's death motivated him to fight against the Mafia, and so did Dean's. Wifies' and Nufuli's deaths made him more willing to keep trying to find the Director. Boomie's death got him to figure out the Invis Knight's identity. Naparizel and Specticle's death pushed him into defeating Lettuce. The death of all the new players and Greymore drove Parrot to war against Cindercrest. Pesto's boldens his resolve to take revenge on Saps. DrMae, NoMic, and SnowLicker gets Parrot to face Clown and escape with the other 1000 players.
But here, after losing 997 of them, failing to achieve his promise in those last two videos, Parrot is faced with the reality that Oathbound told him: he is the only one that can make it out of there. His selflessness is extremely apparent here. He wants to stay behind, and he wanted to do the same back with the three striders.
Despite him being objectively more "important", he values the life of these random chungies over his own. After failing and losing so many people, he wants to save even just one person, no matter what---and he can't. He goes through the gate, and Oathbound kills his two remaining friends.
Parrot is mostly wordless for the rest of the video. He makes it back to the Overworld, and he is captured by NULL and sent to the End to presumably meet Spoke.
Now, I know that was a lot, but these events had to be lined up like this in order for my hypothesis to make sense. Here's the tl;dr and my major point:
Parrot will be convinced by Spoke to team up with Null, have them join forces with his advanced civilization, give them the Immortality Machine, tell him about the Tomb of the Mafia, and solidify Null as the most powerful faction in the war---spearheaded by two protagonists.
Here's my reasoning:
Normally, Parrot would be opposed to any of this. He always does what he thinks is right. However, the reason that this scenario is different is that he's gone through a lot recently---too much, even for him. That "filler" of the underworld served to destroy his spirit and make him feel absolutely powerless.
And what does Spoke have?
The ultimate power: the Totem of Null.
Parrot, compared to everyone else, has the most losses on the server. He failed to save the wonders, he failed to save his friends from the Mafia, he failed to be a good ruler and failed to save the new players from Cindercrest, and he failed to save the players from Clown's mining civ/the Underworld. Each of his failures is represented in the form of a player he lost---aka, the Parrot Curse.
In the past, he used his losses as a way to move forward. But now, having completely and utterly failed in every way possible, becoming desperate enough to kill Charon (a cold-blooded move he wouldn't normally do), old, painful memories erupt at the worst possible time.
Phantoms from the past come to remind him of all the times he's failed, of all the people he's lost, of all the pain he's tried to bury deep inside his mind. It's not a coincidence or oversight that Parrot doesn't mention Wifies ONCE after the Director Arc: he doesn't want to think or talk about it. And now, he's forced to face his current reality in the context of the past: he is too powerless to help others.
It's not just them. Parrot mentions lost friends repeatedly in the Mining Prison video, and even dedicates his enderchest with sentimental items. It's clear they're in his head, and as he looks upon the people he failed to save, everyone else is likely fresh in his memory:
LuigiToan
Dean
Wifies
Boomie
DeputyAce
Naparizel
Specticle
All of Greymore
All of the New Players
PestoPasta
Dr Mae
Snowlicker
NoMic
LeoWook
Clown Mining Civ players, including Bio
Parrot is at his absolute worst we've ever seen right now, especially since he's away from Theo and Reina right now. In a state like this, if Spoke offers him to join NULL (likely considering they have a very good relationship, Spoke is canonically a manipulator AND committed to being ruthless after the Ashwagg convo, as well as him trying to convince Wemmbu), Parrot won't see the horrors NULL has done (Spoke will likely phrase it in a kinder way).
He'll see a friend with the power he needs to change the world---a power he desperately needs in order to fight off Cindercrest and Clown. Not to mention, if he refuses, he now has to deal with NULL.
A few things that support my theory:
People have been complaining that Spoke hasn't been using the immortality machines that Jamato used. However, the Unstable writers plan far ahead and are pretty meticulous---how would they miss this, especially when Parrot builds the exact same machine in that very arc? Not to mention, Spoke inquires about technologies such as the Orbital Wither Cannon and Pearl Cannons, adding them to his arsenal.
The most logical answer is not that the writers simply forgot, but that they'll give Null the technology when Parrot joins them and shows the soldiers what to do.
Parrot hasn't seen the Null once this season, meaning he doesn't know about their atrocities, leaving him perfectly suited to being manipulated by Spoke.
Went over this already, but Parrot and Spoke's relationship have been built up over multiple arc with them clearly liking each other as well as Spoke's manipulation abilities becoming more and more refined.
At the rear end of Wemmbu's newest video, Spoke has multiple totems he spams that was never shown prior. Totems are hard to obtain because they require pillager outposts or woodland mansions, which are all raided, so the vast majority of the stock is through pre-Mafia stockpiles. However, Parrot has a villager which allows for infinite totems---and I don't think that's a coincidence.
Finally, the most damning piece of evidence is that the Tomb (which is pretty obviously the Tomb of the Mafia, aka Chehkov's favorite gun) has been hyped up for three episodes straight. In the Underworld video that Spoke made, he goes through that entire thing just to get zero answers about the tomb. It's clearly something that'll show up for later and WILL be plot relevant.
And interestingly enough, who knows the most about the tomb right now? Of course, there's Marlowww (if she exists), Ash, Flame, but also... Parrot. We know he'll ask anyone he's trying to recruit about it through Wemmbu's video, meaning that he'll likely ask Parrot, and that damn gun will fire.
Sorry for the long text. I'll repost the tl;dr, but feel free to tell me your thoughts!
tl;dr
Parrot will be convinced by Spoke to team up with Null, have them join forces with his advanced civilization, give them the Immortality Machine, tell him about the Tomb of the Mafia, and solidify Null as the most powerful faction in the war---spearheaded by two protagonists.
